  2. Hey diesel great vid dude
Have watched a couple of other vids of this game and you are the only one i have seen that is not trying to take the corners at 30 to 50 mph and then complain when the truck runs off the road or jack knifes
Keep playing it like it should be

  3. Ha ha! Diesel Alaska is a state of the USA so there for it can be part of American truck simulator. lol
its not Canadian or the NWT that owns Alaska its the USA.
And yes the speed limit slow right down for bridges because they can freeze very quick especially because the weather can drop down to -40 to -80 very fast
and the whole bridge is exposed to the elements which means that the whole bridge can be frozen cock stiff
which makes driving across them very deadly in the winter. Also the roads are all built like that because the USA built them that way.
mile zero starts in Dawson Creek BC Canada 1382 miles north to Alaska, The Alaska highway was built in 1942 by the US Army. So there you go my friend
the jackasses that built the roads were the American Army.

Any way bud thank you for the video, I am going to Wishlist this game, I think this game could end up better than the American truck simulator, because it has survival
aspects and do your own mechanics also you are not just limited to your truck you can get out and do things. who knows maybe they will make it so it can be more real life so you can buy land, houses, vehicles skidoos and a dog sledding team and all kinds of toys, Depending on the developers this game could have a lot of potential. may be one day the can add hunting and fishing and cooking shopping for food and cloths. may be they can make it so you can pull over to the side of the road and go fishing or hunting, to cut back on food cost may be they can add some kind of crafting so one can tan hides and make cloths they could have a lot of DLCs for this game and usually everything shuts down for a week or two once it hits minus -40 and then again for 2 weeks in the spring when the ground turns into baby shit, seriously if you get out and walk around in the mud you end up getting taller because of the mud sticking to your boots lol
Wish you the best Take care stay healthy!
    Cheers! 😉

  4. Well the basics are here, I do like that we have a character to control. Instead of it being all maximum overdrive like the other titles. Not sure we got the best of the last frontier in this though lol. Also I was surprised by that what's the frequency Kenneth remark, finally I'm not the only one who knows that song! Thanks for the content diesel, this seems like a good game to play after work and just chill. Thanks again and take care of yourself!

  5. I like the idea behind this, but the trucks just don't do it for me. I'm not comparing this to ATS as it's a game not a sim, but the driving and steering animation looks too choppy.

  6. Game released about a year to early. No wheel and pedal support except for Logitech. The trucks have low detail, and the trailer hookups are not power outlets. I like the concept of the game, but the graphics are pretty poor and the details I mentioned above. Won't be buying this now. Will wait and see what they do to improve the game.

  7. I think it can't compare. ATS looks much better and it's optimized; you can't say the same for this game. On the other side, this game has other unique qualities that make this trucking simulation much more realistic and fun than ATS.

  8. They got some work to do but it's only good for the genre to have more games around. This games has features like getting out of truck and interecting with truck, that if ATS picks up its going to be killer. The part that i like about getting out of truck is not to hunt deers but to have a look when reversing and you think you might hit something. It would be so cool to get out of truck and have a look, you can do it with mods but its bad

  9. The only difference from American Truck is you can get out, walk around and hook up the trailers. Oh and eat, drink etc.

    1. In reality, you don't hook up your trailer at the 5th wheel. You hook up the trailer, just like in American Truck, by backing into it. The 5th wheel will lock once the kingpin has entered the slot. You unhook the trailer at the 5th wheel by pulling on a latch. Newer trucks have a button inside the cab that releases the 5th wheel.
    2. Where the hell is the pigtail (power cable)? You've got the trailer brake and service brake cable, but no power to the trailer? Explains why when you're headlights were on, you had no tail lights.
    3. American Truck graphics, 10x's better.

I'll stick with American Truck. The walk around, eating, etc, doesn't make it better with the terrible graphics. Looks like they developed it on a 2010 engine.
May not be able to do all that in American Truck, but at least they have all the correct processes and cables. I'd take that over the walking around.
