Does God PREDESTINE Some People To Hell And Others To Heaven?

Does God predestine some people to go to hell and others to heaven before they are even born? Does God create some people with the intent of sending them to hell? If so, did these people ever have a chance to be saved? And, does this make God somehow unfair if some people are chosen for salvation and others are not? This video will go into depth on the topic of double predestination and whether or not God predestines some people to hell.

  1. Hey BEAT family! I got a deep one for you all today. WARNING: This video is not for those who simply want to just skim through and get a quick answer. I had to take my time with this and really try to break this down and look at it from all sides. I hope you appreciate and enjoy this video and I look forward to hearing your thoughts as always below. Enjoy!

  2. God is not "willing" that any should parish… could that passage mean that He is not "purposing" as opposed to "wanting/ inclining" anyone to parish ? How are we to understand the Cross of Christ, ( the Lamb slain before the foundations of the world) in light of a predetermined eternal separation of creation unless free will itself can trump God's will.. and btw, the divine institution of free will in God's creative architecture is ironically setting His desire to have eternal fellowship with all His creation under the authority of the creation itself. Only Love can explain this conundrum.. because Love does not depend on logic to explain itself.

  3. Parr, I want to share another perspective and hope that you'll consider this point.

You're saying that God is choosing some people and God is not choosing others, but at the same time, you're saying that the reason why is because people don't want him, and that implies free will. You're saying in the analogy that the airport is giving 60 tickets away, but God is granting salvation for the entire world and wants everyone to believe. Your point seems to at first be acknowledging that God wants everyone to believe, but then seems to separate that point when using the airport analogy of a person only being willing to give 60 tickets. If the analogy were to have perfectly matched, then it would seem that the airport would be giving tickets away for the entire world but only 60 people are accepting the tickets because only 60 people want it.

This implies Free Will and also supports the Armenian conclusion.

Also, it seems that the context of the hearts of people being hardened maybe in reference to the Jewish people, and we know that God's plan was not for the Jewish people not to be saved, but that through their rejection the gentiles would be saved who would also bring the gospel back to the Jewish people that both would ultimately be saved.

    Romans 9:22-24
¶What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:
23And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,
24Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles.

    Romans 11:15
15For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?

    Romans 11:21
21For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
22Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
23And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.

This implies free will, and the purpose of the Jewish people's hearts being hardened was not so that they would remain unsaved, but so that both the Jewish people and the gentiles would both be safe together.

  4. God has told us to pass on this last days warning, so we are sharing this video, which we hope you will watch, with everyone and we will let God bring the understanding, we are just the messengers. Last Days Message – So Much Of What Today's Leaders Do Cannot Be Found In God's Word, Why Follow Them? Acts chapter 2, and for that matter, the entire book of Acts is for today, despite what so many leaders and denominations say. The book of Acts is not the acts of the apostles, it is the acts of the Holy Spirit done through His apostles and disciples. The book of Acts cannot be ignored or watered down. Many of today's leaders are encouraging God's people to worship God any way they want, yet Jesus says He is looking for those that will worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. Jude tells us to earnestly contend for the faith once for all delivered unto the saints. So, if something a leader is encouraging you to do cannot be found in God's word then don't do it. Follow, serve and worship Jesus as He states in His word. If a leader is teaching you anything else, run away! Leaders in the early, already corrupted church, created "special" days, created a church calendar, created traditions and added so much to God's word and how to preach God's word, that leaders today cannot see how much they have continued on the wrong path. God may have saved someone or worked a miracle during one of these "special" days, but not because it was a "special" day, God did it in spite of the leader honoring their "special" day and He loves His children, but He has had enough of working in spite of His leaders. Throw away everything that is not in God's word, there are no "special" days, God does not work on a "church" calendar, God does not like traditions and wants His people to use His word alone. Leaders must get back to preaching like Jesus, Peter, and Paul and the rest of His apostles and disciples, without notes, without preplanned messages, and instead, preach by opening their mouths and letting the Holy Spirit speak through them. Are there any leaders today that have enough faith and trust in God to believe that He will speak through them? If you cannot do that, could it be you were not called? Could it be, you were called but you lost your way? The "church" calendar or special events should never guide what leaders preach about, it should always and forever be what God wants to speak about through His leaders. Didn't God say that rivers of living waters would flow from your belly, don't leaders believe that? Run from planned messages, because they are from man not from God. God always wants to speak, and according to His word that is what He wants His leaders to be doing, waiting on God to bring forth His message that God has on His heart. This continued way of following, serving and worshipping God as man desires has brought so much lukewarmness to God's church that Revelation 3:14-22 is soon coming to pass. He who has ears to hear let him hear.

  5. How do I know if I'm really elect and really a believer and have really believed in Jesus and really saved? Or am I just merely living a moralistic life and proclaiming the name of Christ merely because it's what I was taught?

    Reply
  6. I agree with the non-Calvinist crowd. To understand election we have to understand it from a biblical view not a Calvinist point of view. According to 1 Peter 1:2 all believers are elect but we are elect according to the foreknowledge of God. God stands outside of time and knows the names of all those who will trust Him. When we hear the gospel message we are taken to the crossroads where it is OUR responsibility to count the cost of salvation. After that then God chooses to save us. Jesus spoke of counting the cost in Luke14. Lidya in Acts 16 counted the cost and said yes whereas King Agippa counted the cost after hearing the same gospel message and said no in Acts 26.

  7. I agree with your belief on this subject. But, my only thing I have a question a out is this; what does it mean if a person when in darkness wanted to be left alone and not believe in Jesus, then having their eyes opened (ie. I would say elected/forknown) they become a believer thanks to the work of Jesus. I ask this because it is part of my personal testimony, and before He woke me up to the truth, I was completely in sin and didn't even care if I ended up in hell. Your thoughts on this would be much appreciated Allen. God bless you and keep you always, really enjoy your videos and what you do. I thank Jesus for saving your life and using you powerfully in your ministry.

  8. Jesus said hell was made for the devil and his followers for THEIR rebellion. People who reject God go to hell not because God just picks certain sinners over others. If Paul the chief of sinners can be saved anyone can. Otherwise we’re all just keeping our fingers crossed relying on luck to be picked rather than belief on the finished work of God.

  9. A few things, 1. God is logical. Maybe not human logic, but Christians have historically affirmed that he is a God of order and thus logic applies.
    2. Arminians do not believe that everyone has an equal chance to come to salvation.

  10. "Does God predestine some people to go to hell and others to heaven before they are even born? " This question, and indeed, all of the controversy surrounding this doctrine is based upon a false presupposition, and that is that election and predestination have to do with heaven and hell, salvation and damnation. Dr. R.C. Sproul said that this doctrine is very difficult, and it is a source of "perplexity and bewilderment whenever it is discussed." That is the case, to be sure, and precisely because perhaps no doctrine is more misunderstood, and no scriptural references more misinterpreted. No where does the scripture state that we are predestined to salvation. If only people could see this, and understand what it actually is to which some are predestined, then the controversy would evaporate, as would, I am a bit reticent to state, the entire system of Calvinism. There literally would be no need for the system. That to which some are predestined is an experience subsequent and transcendent to simple salvation or the conversion experience. This misunderstanding is why provisionists and Arminians cannot give sufficient arguments against Calvinism.

I will not "give the secret away," but if you would like to prove me wrong at the get go, simply show me the verse of scripture that states that anyone is predestined to salvation. I will stand corrected.

  11. I have to disagree with you on the statement "God is not logical." God is the author of logic. Everything He does makes sense, has scientific and moral backing and is an all-around good idea to follow. It is logical to follow God and accept forgiveness of sins by His Son and the gift of the Holy Spirit. It makes you wiser, gives you strength and courage, keeps you healthy and thriving.

  12. I'm studying Christianity and I'm an atheist and I believe in the eternally inflating multiverse. I believe that when I die my soul will no longer function and it will go kaput, but sooner or later an exact remake of my soul will randomly be created from scratch and will be realised in some future bubble universe with it's own big bang and subsequent evolution somewhere else in the eternally inflating multiverse. Over the course of eternity I believe my exact life I I have lived so far and every other possible variation of my life will ultimately be lived an infinite number of times by other exact copies of me, living on other exact copies of this Earth in other exact copies of our observable universe in other bubble universes elsewhere in the eternally inflating multiverse. I reject the blood of Jesus because if Jesus was real then there will ultimately be an infinite number of Jesuses who think that they are Jesus sharing exactly all of Jesus's memories and thought processes. In an eternally inflating multiverse anything that can happen will happen, in fact it will happen an infinite number of times.

  13. No such thing as free will. The will is enslaved to sin. Let a child go, and he will go astray naturally. There is a such thing as human responsibility and Divine sovereignty. It is a mystery on this side of heaven we will never fully understand. The Cross, Resurrection and Pauls life before and after conversion are perfect pictures of the doctrine of election.

  14. Saying that God “passes over the rest” would only work if you didn’t at the same time uphold the view of total depravity. If man is born in a state where he lacks the capacity to respond positively to Christ yet all the while is held accountable by God for not responding positively to Christ, then that is clearly unjust and undermines the goodness of God. I have many great Calvinist friends but don’t understand how they can hold to such a view that blatantly undermines God’s character.

  19. Evangelism either proves the doctrine of election is umbilical or that Calvanist that engage in it are hypocrites.
Now if we simply and honestly believe that a select group has already been chosen to receive salvation before the foundations of the world. Secondly, if we believe according to Calvanism that a person plays no part in their salvation.
Thirdly, if we believe in the Calvinistic doctrine of irresistible Grace that God makes a person to choose what God wants him to choose in accordance to their salvation.
We must honestly ask the question?
Why spend time, effort, money and training in sharing the gospel, if God has already made that decision in the lives of millions of people before the foundations of the world?
Now to say we don't know who God has already chosen to be saved as an argument to support evangelism.
Is totally irrational in it's concept
Should I walk into a room and choose 20 people out of a 100 people to give them a $1,000.00 too.
Do I honestly need to teach people who are yet to receive a $1,000.00 how to receive a$1,000.00? Because we don't know in the room who has been chosen to receive a $1,000.00?
Not hardly I already know who I want to give a $1,000.00 too and according to Calvanism they are not going to reject my offer.
So why Evangelize since the decision has already been made ?

  20. The scripture says behold the lamb of God that comes to take away the “sin”…not the individual sins of the world. If he came to take away the sins of the world then that would mean that His death, burial and resurrection were not 100percent effective because everyone’s sins are not forgiven and not everyone’s sins will be forgiven. Why is it so easy to believe that God can choose people to salvation and no one to destruction? Is He not God? Is He not sovereign? Does He answer to us for what He does or chooses not to do? How is he sovereign if it’s not Him and Him ALONE making choice of who comes in to HIS heaven and who doesn’t?

  21. He said repent and be baptized every one of you in the Name of Jesus Christ. He decides who will repent and who won’t. What part of dead in trespasses and sin do you not understand? Dead people don’t make decisions.

  22. If He predestined people to be saved like the Bible says He did and somebody didn’t make that predestination list then they ARE predestined to be lost. Period.

  25. The problem with Calvinism is that it makes God the only one responsible for anyone who's in hell ..

I'll have to watch this in segments..
I've engaged with calvinistic people for over a decade and the scriptures we have seem to have plenty verses that say he's not willing that any perish..and he didn't send his son into the world to condemn the world.. and that he doesn't rejoice in the death of the wicked.

If God is at war with himself, he's not holy, he's at war with himself..

    Actually.. you're wrong Alan..
Arminianism says that all who were and who do come to faith, who have been forseen to have faith, these are the ones who were predestined.

    It's based on foreseen faith.

You may want to read arminian theology myths and realities by doctor Roger E Olson, and what is an arminian by John Wesley..
And the newly released 40 questions about arminianism by Matthew pinson..

You're quite misinformed Alan..I believe you're a brother.. just a very misinformed one..
Don't get your information about what Arminians believe in from anti arminian Calvinist people like RC Sproul and John macarthur Jr..

I'll be reminding you again to pick up these books and read them… find out what Arminians believe, from Arminians.

    Have a nice day sir.
