Zero desire to go back till they clean up their prices . 😢
Stayed twice for over a week at Port Orleans Riverside pre and post pandemic. The nickel and diming was there to see. We are fortunate to be able to have afforded those trips, but we stayed at Endless Summer in a better room and enjoyed City Walks and better transport. Universal was a great experience and you've hit the nail on the head… Stick a shuttle bus for Endless Summer or another universal hotel and our plans may change forever in Florida like many many others
I can see and understand your outrage and heart ache. I too feel your pain and can almost tear up about it. I love Disney and also have worked for Disney. It seems like it’s for well financed families. I was glad they started the annual passes again. The merchandise is overly priced as well. Let’s see what happens to them this next year. There are many scary things going on overseas right now. People may not feel safe to travel.

Preach! I’m a Disney fan but I’m hurting looking at these new prices. I cannot afford to go and eat at the same time. This video is powerful, thank you for making it- you said everything I’m thinking and more. Disney is not the same company anymore . I hope they listen to you.
It’s a simple fact in any business. If the company can raise prices and people still buy the products in mass they will do that. That’s how our system is designed to work. If you have a problem with this find a way to fix the system because the system is the problem and businesses are operating the way the system allows. As long as the parks stay full they will keep raising their prices, they would be stupid not to. Disney is still my jam and I will keep going, they haven’t priced me out yet and I don’t think they will any time soon.

They are "woking" and pricing themselves out of business. Walt would be furious if her was alive.
We went back in July and it cost us 170 dollars a piece to get in, that’s outlandish and we will NEVER! go back to any of those parks unless they lower the prices down around 100 bucks. Those prices are a joke and people are crazy to pay those prices.

Yes. I definitely would also like to point out your authenticity. I follow another disney fanatic channel call DFB Guide. While they are extremely helpful, I also feel they sometimes make excuses for Disney. They will say "prices are going up while the parks are offering much less. Its insane!!" while in the same breath promoting the stockholm syndrome. But to be fair, they may have a deal with disney so maybe they are just doing their jobs 😭😭😭
Its a big catch 22 though. Lets say, Disney said you know what, tickets are now 40 dollars to come to the parks for a one day ticket. And hotel stays are now 100 dollars a night at all resorts. Well. We can all agree the parks are congested now. Even if attendance is down, the parks are crazy busy. If you lower the prices……it would be even more busier. It wouldnt be fun at all, as in, NOT at all. So….thats a no go. The only thing to do is 1, make a 5th gate, or 2. Put an actual Cap on attendance, lower, but cost higher. Right now they are Higher prices and still allow millions if. I dont blame them for cash sakes, but…. currently, yes, it is actually, just too much to go to disney.

I went to Epcot today to get my usual margarita from Mexico (wanted to check out the moana area) Not only do they not offer the extra shot anymore….. it’s more expensive and you barely taste any booze…. 😬

Disney knows they are in trouble when Epic universe opens. I think they are trying to get what they can while the going is good.
I visited Florida for the first time in years in June. Universal was an easy experience, easy to navigate, lots of water fountains, nice staff. Disney we had a number of issues with breakdowns, staff telling us incorrect information repeatedly and getting the wrong food orders, and we spent less time there. Disney also is much more spread out, few places to get free water and seemingly little shade. I probably won't visit again in my lifetime unfortunately but may possibly visit epic universe if I can save the cash and it lives up to the hype
My biggest issue right now is the resort pricing. Look at the standard rack rate. When you have a “value” resort such as AoA that has a higher price than some Moderate or Deluxe hotels, that’s a problem. Even with discounts, these prices are ridiculous. Just stayed 4 nights at All-Star Movies. Over $900 and never got the housekeeping I requested.
How can ppl in these comments say “I’ll willingly pay more for less crowd” then be against this. This is essentially that! Pay more and less crowd bc ppl are priced out
Wait wait wait. You’re telling me an annual pass in Florida for access to 4 different parks is cheaper than a magic key in California where we get half of the amount of parks, rides, experiences, etc? I didn’t realize that it wasn’t just the ticket prices that went up but also literally everything in the park. My husband and I just purchased our first ever magic keys before this price increase but with yet ANOTHER increase, I know we will not be renewing. So sad to see how Disney has been handled these past couple of years.
Universal is badass!!! I have 2 little boys and dont go to disney. We chose Universal every time!
I wanted to get annual passes as a christmas gift for my family but an $50 times 3! Its a lot more for me, and my husband and I just decided to get Universal passes, cheaper and a better experiences over all!
I went for the first time in my mid 40sa few years ago. I refused to pay those prices then. I'm not going to pay for it now. I stay off property for 8 nights for less than 4 nights at the Polynesian.
