  1. @mondo when you watch she hulk there are QR codes in the episodes and you get a comic book so I can see them really. Doing more of that on the Disney plus shows and movies QR codes are already hidden in some of the marvel stuff and u can pause and scan them

  2. 🤔 hmmmmmm, seems interesting, I know they want to get more effective at fine tuning personal ads or recommendations for us the consumers, but at the same time I kind of enjoy getting recommend random things.

It takes me out of a repetitive routine or shows me things I would have never known I liked.

Or Ads for merchandise, shows, events, whatever, maybe it wouldn’t be something I’d buy, watch or go do myself but could be something a family member or someone I know might love as a gift or would want to know about.

And worse if I do look up stuff for someone I know, I now get recommended a whole bunch of things I don’t want 😂

I just think if people really want something they are going to search and seek it out. But I get Disney’s businesses side of view, why wait for someone to maybe look for something they want when you can shove things they maybe want in-front of them. 🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑

But I say all that like I wouldn’t buy a membership 😂 because I would, I already go to the parks, buy merchandise and watch their streaming service, why not get some discounts while I’m at it.

😂 sorry for the long reply, but thank you for the update and sparking the discussion!

  3. A lot of their merch is ugly tbh, i am a huge Disney fan but even when I was at the parks, the merch wasn’t cute and could’ve have been way better. I look on instagram and all these girls are making so much cute merch. I fdisney hired smaller creators that are actually making cute merch I would buy the heck out of it. But when I go online or in the stores half the stuff I dont buy because its so ugly or cringe.

  4. That article doesn’t have nearly enough details on what else would be offered to make it worthwhile. It would need to offer more than just discounts on merch. The only Disney Membership program I can think of that would actually make sense is if it offered a significant discount on Park Tickets. Many thought that type of program would replace AP’s before they announced Magic Keys. If they never sell new Magic Keys/AP’s again I guess a Membership Program could find enough of a market to make sense after a few years. I don’t own a Magic Key but I’d be open to hearing about new potential discounts on Park Tickets. I find it hard to believe it could actually replace the value of what a Magic Key provides though.
