  1. Sarkhan's Unsealing seems like a great card in this deck, deal extra damage for just casting your Dino's especially with discover!

And occasionally you will get the deal 4 damage to each creature your opponents control if you cast a dino with 7 power!

  2. I guess the idea was to keep pantlaza as commander, but I'd suggest looking into switching it with the new Huatli poet of unity: ramps at turn 3, turn 4 you can transform it and from there on, if they can't remove it before the third counter, you just roll over any board.

  3. Really excited about this deck because dinos are sweet. One of the guys in my pod had a Gishath that i played and played against and it was always underwhelming because it got removed 80% of the time before triggering. There's probably some protection or haste enablers that could make it more impactful but in general I think that is kinda just the card design/balance. This is to me seems more reliable value and less threatening as soon as it hits the board so you hopefully get more triggers

  4. I've done a little research on some good cards to run with Pantlaza as the commander to enhance the benefits for discover, or that work well with the deck. (Some may already be included from the video, the deck, or haven't released yet.)

    Wayward Swordtooth $2.50+
    Sneak Attack $5.00+
    Thrasta. Tempest's Roar $1.00+
    Elemental Bond $5.00+
    Cryptic Gateway $1.00+
    Pugnacious Hammerskull $0.75+
    Knight of the Stampede $0.35+
    Hulking Raptor $1.50+
    Kinjalli's Caller $0.20+
    Ghalta, Primal Hunger $2.50+
    Garruk's Uprising $0.45+
    Blasphemous Act $1.50+
    Monster Manual $4.00+
    Herald's Horn $5.00+
    Swords to Plowshares $0.75+
    Ghalta and Mavren $2.00+
    Heroic Intervention $8.00+
    Ephemerate $1.50+
    Lurking Predators $5.50+

For a total price of about $50 for all 19 cards I would say it's worth it. Though I'd likely add about 10-15. I didn't have a whole lot of lower cost red dinos/cards atm since a lot of them are pricey or I didn't think of any. (I'm mainly a green player), but these are mostly $0.50-$5.00. If anyone has any good red cards to throw in please throw a comment!

  5. I like your show, however, I really feel like content like this in general is the fundamental problem why we end up paying $80 for this deck as opposed to the regular $40 it came out as and should be! It’s like this weird unspoken collusion between wizards, content providers, and retailers. But, when you break down the decks and highlight the value of everything, you couldn’t possibly think that people in the retail industry (i.e. LGSs) won’t watch your content and adjust their prices accordingly. You are basically doing their job for them! This, in turn, drives the price up on Amazon because they watch the price markets like TCGPLAYER which is largely made up of LGSs. It would be interesting if every content provider got together and agreed to just spoil the decks and cards prior to release, but none of them said a word about value or the price of cards at all. I would love to see if ALL of the decks retained their initial price point. Btw, the vamp precon has also gone up and is at $60 currently.
Edit- I really wanted to say just one more thing. Why do you feel the need to breakdown the value of these precons? Technically, you are just hurting your own company by creating distrust from your viewers. They watch your show, you tell them how awesome of a deal and how much value they’ll get if they go buy this product, then they go to buy it and find out it’s twice the price and really doesn’t have the great value YOU claimed it did! Now they’ll watch your show but won’t believe you when you break down the numbers(or worse, stop watching your show because you misled them)so why do it in the first place?

  6. my immediate thought with this deck was add in all of the enrage dinos, a couple of the "everything gets +0/+1' enchantments, maybe a couple of the 0cmc toughness equipment, a pyrohemia, swap the commander, then just add and tweak from there.

the double enrage effects and being able to force them so easily seems too good to pass up. and she's a 1/5… she was born to bonk dinos with her stick.

  8. Imma just say this choose your weapon, gisela, blade of goldnight, twinferno with a 10/10 or bigger on the board alongside that akromas will or chandras ignition….. Ive done it twice this week

Edit: i took out some of the "if dino was dealt damage or etb deal dmg to your creature stuff" stuff and put in older cascade dinos and 2 angels Aurelia and obviously gisela and elesh norn,MoM for reasons…….. Also gishath with akromas will and choose your weapon, and Aurelia on the battle field as well

  9. Gonna reiterate just in case that you do not have to play the cards you discover, so it literally makes it card draw with upside. This also means you don't have to develop the board when you don't want to, for example, if you're expecting a board wipe (or even got one in your hand already). I know, I know, free value is hard to turn down, but I do think this mechanic is more skill-testing than people give it credit for.

  10. seriously I don't know what Wotc was thinking naming this thing Pantlaza lol the first time my wife saw it, she was like what the hell is that thing called? Pantplaza, Sun-Flavored 🤣Before Ixalan and the subsequent JP sets dropped, I ran OG dinos with Zacama and even though it ran a lot of bad, subpar dinos, it still won a LOT. Now, it's getting replaced by Pants boi here, and Zacama is headed into the 99, I think its gonna be insanely strong.
