  1. hey one peg if you could tell sdf or iron mace about this stutter bug i wasn't lagging but i was getting a constraint stutter every 10-15 seconds and it kept from playing the game
until today i was seeing if after a while of not playing if it would finally stop stuttering and well it didn't so as soon as i saw it was stuttering still i altf4 and out of rage
then i logged back in to try some of the 100 fixes on the internet and the game said i still had a game going so i joined and i was able to play the game again like nothing happed im glad i can finally play again but learning high roller while stuttering wasn't fun and this bug kept me from playing the game

i also play on steam and haven't done anything to my game beside using the -dx11 launch option after getting the stutter and then was still stuttering using the -dx11 launch option it was only after i joined a game and altf4 did my game start working again im still running it in -dx11 and so far its working fine even after i close the game and reopen it

(if you've ever played bf4 and had that rubber banding effect that's basically what the stutter was doing to me it kept me in place while people and mobs could just hit me as i was a sitting duck)

  2. Destiny is a classic example of the guy that knows a lot about music theory but has absolutely terrible taste in music. Jacob Collier is the height of this. Seems to know absolutely everything about music theory but makes terrible music.

  3. Destiny isn't a drummer so I don't fault him for not having a satisfying answer to the question "why are there so few patterns."
Here's the short version of my answer.
There are two very core origins to rhythm rooted in the human body and experience. Those elements would be heartbeat and walking. Slow heartbeat and slow walking will yield a beat that's based off that timing. Listen to an ACDC song and go for a walk and you'll understand. It's easy to match the pace.
These timings form the skeleton of the genre. All the fills and variations will be based off that framework.
When cutting a pie you can make two cuts and have four pieces and then cut those in half and you have 8. If you're trying to be easy to relate to you wouldn't be cutting it in super abstract ways. You'd generally stick to something simple.
