  1. Bye, your biggest unanswered question is “Where did The Witness go?” I would argue, “Where does The Witness come from?” Is a greater mystery.

  2. A point Byf makes that I love is what he says about a post-witness universe. If we really do defeat them who's to not say the remaining Disciples become even more dangerous because there is no longer someone to reign them in anymore? Especially if the Witness has lied to their own followers about their end goal. That would totally change everything.
I believe if given enough thought and dedication a post-light and dark saga universe could open up narratives that would not be possible before. Maybe even creating stories that could grow to be even more memorable to what we know now.
It is an ecosystem like Byf said and I hope it stays true to that logic as it carries on.

  3. 1:52:01 I've said it before, I'll say it again: the one thing – the one thing – I would love to see after the Light and Darkness Saga concludes is for us to leave the playpen. Reconquering Torobatl. Reseeding Riis. Finding the ruins of the Gift-Mast or the Sindu or the athenaeum worlds.

  4. The more and more Nezarec is talked about the more i wonder just how truly powerful the Witness is if Nez can do what he does while dead, is considered a god, and yet is a disciple of the Witness.

  5. I wonder if there is a link between the line Savathun's worm said about lying to send the Witness away, and Nezarec being labelled a traitor. I wonder if she convinced the Witness that Nezarec would betray them (being a god of pain and all), allowing her to kill him and take the veil without becoming enemy number one of the Witness.

  6. i think they traveler is the gardener it is monolithic and silent like a deity. There are people like the speaker that try to interpret what it wants but not even its ghosts who are basically like it's prophets know what it's true intentions are. However the witness is just an alien being who wields the darkness. Probably extremely ancient but at the most basic level similar to rulk. So the question remains what physical form does the winnower take is it the anthesis of the traveler, a sphere of darkness, perhaps made of dark matter which could mean there is a connection between the winnower and the nine which would be insane.
On other note the whole idea that the veil could be part of a mycelial network is a trip. If it is then bungie were really channeling ST discovery when they thought of it. I know it is an actually scientific theory, but it is one made popular by ST discovery's use of it in their show. Everything is pointing to the idea that the next chapter in destiny will take place outside the confines of the Sol system. However in the world of destiny there is no FTL travel technology. For a while i was thinking that because the neomunians are so much more advanced than us maybe they have the tech and will give it to us. But what if we learn how to use the veil to allow us to travel between the stars through a mycelial network. Honestly when i think about the veil it seems like a cross between star trek and the matrix with the cloud arc's virtual environment.

  7. I love that the jump pads are tied to your frame rate. Just ti guarantee the jump each time I have to turn down from 165fps to 55fps just to not get killed while jumping

  8. Season of the deep makes me think we’re going back to titan next season, specifically for the text that comes up at the end of the winter it’s quest talking about a danger to the witness on titan

  10. didnt we had a peak in the traveler when Red War, it cracked pieces out and can be seen from tower.
Looked more like a machine / building structure, maybe its a inward built colony city but everyone died.
Now only left the machine functioning on auto that was originally designed to go and terraform planets where the citizens inside can come out and live.

  11. Regarding the comment that we're the only ones who wield both, are you counting Mara Sov in that "we" because of our human origins? Clearly she isn't a guardian but doesn't she use both?

  12. It's obvious to me that they intended strand to come out with Witch Queen. The spell on the traveler is obviously strand in nature. Apparently they just needed more time to work on it before release. Then they changed the story to accommodate it. It would have made much more sense if we learn strand from our encounter with savathun instead of finding it randomly and then Osiris learning it with us.

  13. Night Terror: Heavy Glaive, ranged attack: similar to dark drinker but applys volatility
Melee attack: uses heavy ammo for a AOE slam, a direct hit will deal high burst damage.
    Ammo: 27 max, 18 base
6 ammo for range 3 for melee

  14. Also btw, on the topic of the connections between the guardians their ghosts and the traveler, and how the light and its powers "flow", there is actually a sort of confirmation that the ghosts are a sort of conduit, because if you go through the hydroponics lost sector on neomuna, sometimes you get some dialogues at the end, at one, ghost says something along the lines of how they feel strained using the light, like they try to draw water from a well, and not from a tap, and they also asks that it is because what happened to the traveler, or are they just still sad about her.

  15. Making a prediction here: Amanda is rezzed as a Guardian. Uldren is devastated that she has no memory. Savathun finally gets rezzed and he learns from her how she was able to give Uldren his memories back, as well as how to regain her own, to give Amanda her memories back. This act brings Savathun into the fold as an ally
