  1. Witness is not a enemy, its a vitcim. And traveler is affraid of changing reality? No wonder he keep running away.
Also this means Final Shape is real.
    But theres two unknows
-Is pyramid Blade a one of keys to end?
-Will Witness build its army on Mars?

  2. The entire thing is sacred geometry. The Veil and Strand represent vibration, the final shape is the vibration's effect on the Light in the same way vibration has an effect on water. Resonance creates a geometric shape. The final shape.

  3. So…basically the Witness is pissed off at the Traveler because they weren't allowed to play god, to own and rewrite reality to their liking?
That, and they are willing to work with Clovis because they see the man has the same ideology as them?

What I can see here is only that the Witness has the ambition of being reality's very own creator, and is chasing after the Traveler for cuckblocking that very path to its(the Witness) ambition.

    TYRANNY I SAY! TYRANNY!

  4. I can almost guarantee that this week's mission was shoehorned into the season in reaction to backlash from the the LF campaign, and it was done hastily. Who takes some of the most significant lore in the game's history and reveals it after a mission consisting of one (1) lost sector? Any particular reason that Drifter needed Ghost fragments, or could bungo not even be bothered to make something more creative than an average, vanilla WoW fetch quest?

  5. Zavala in the lore entry was asking the same questions that I was when I first saw the cutscene, about the logistics of a collective consciousness. Did every member of the Witness’s species willingly choose to merge their minds together, or were they forced or tricked into doing so with the Darkness’s corruption? Did they even know the concept of individuality to begin with? The larger a collective, the more it needs a hierarchy of structure in order to maintain direction, or else it would splinter off into different subgroups. There had to be at least one dictator that had the single-minded ambition that became an obsession in order to come to this. The cutscene didn’t really explain how or why they resolved to merging together into the Witness. But shouldn’t there also have been some that were against it? Maybe there’s a mastermind within the Veil that tricked them?

  6. I think that Final Shape teaser with Cayde, is in an environment projection of The Witness' home world, after being "gardenified" by The Traveler, that Eden world The Witness once knew, that gives him meaning. Same as Rhulk and his mural in the Pyramid, something to hold on to, not as a sentimental meaning but as a rememberance of what he once was and where he came from.

  7. I think it is undoubtedly the case that those of the Witness's people who did NOT agree to merge, who probably did not agree even on what this "Final Shape" should look like, or be like were used to power the merger itself, while those who DID believe, gladly shed their skin. their lives their individuality to become this one thing, this singularity, this Gravemind to pursue and bring about their "Final Shape".

  8. I think we will find out that we make our own purpose. The witness desired to control and conquer. I believe the Traveller stayed because our purpose has been to discover (hunter), to understand(warlock), and protect(Titan).

  9. Ive always wondered about the hole in game cutscene about a gardians death with a coffin and a ghost , and sword on top its saint 14 talking during the entire ingame cutscene saying his mentor died but his mentor is Osiris and he is still alive right now will he die at some point?

  10. So this could be a little bit out there so put your tinfoil hat on but what if we actually become the Winnower/s? Once we destroy the Witness do we not essentially become the what the witness species call a Winnower? We will of brought structure and balance to the gardener along with utilising the veil so essentially a Ying/Yang situation where we are using both Light and Dark to help shape/structure the universe

  11. I have a theory that no-one seems to have picked up on. When Ahsa and Sloane connect, Ahsa says their minds merged using the darkness. I wonder if this is the same technique the witness used to merge its entire civilisation. If so, it could also be possible for Ahsa and Sloane to permanently connect their minds through the darkness. The merging of minds reminds me of how taken psions split apart. This is like the reverse

  12. It does kinda make sense to want to control the traveler in some way. Considering the power the traveler has, it is basically a “nuke” in the sense that if a civilization has the light they could misuse it and cause calamity. The traveler’s presence itself is the danger possibly

  14. Have you noticed the absence of the Vex? We still know very little about them. We know they are the only one's beside the Witness to have access to the Black Garden. We also know the veil is on Neomuna as are the Vex. We also know a renegade vex mind is hidden in the cloud ark and the cloud ark has something to do with the veil.

It makes me wonder if the Vex are more than we know as they are the ONLY alien race not to have been part of this light v dark saga.

They just seem to be in the background doing vexy things.

No one has yet been able to tell me how the worm knows these things. how does it know it? the worms of fundament are not as old as the witness's race so how does it know the truth? did the friggin traveler a silent being tell it? god bungie just keeps making one misstep after another and expecting no one to notice or care.

  17. I think the light is the block of stone (light, arc, solar, void) that is both litterally and metaphorically the universe, and the darkness is the thougth that the artist has when creating his masterpiece/scolpture (darkness,stasis,strand,_____).
Light is the physical world and the darkness mental, the witness like this would be the first knife that would carve the chaotic universe in his final shape like an artist with stone into his masterpiece and vibration (strand) into water (light) creating a shape. Sorry for bad english.

  18. An epiphany I just had is how reliable is the story telling of these events by Ahsa? Ahsa is supposedly a precursor to the worm gods that originated on the Krill/hive home world… how could she possibly come to k on this story? Clearly secondhand at best but who told her the story and was it agenda free? Did the traveler tell her this story? Is she the first creature it apple to since it didn’t speak the the witness’s people… was it a recruitment ploy possibly propaganda? Also as a side note did the “traveler” ever actually speak to us through the “speakers” of old then stop or was that all some type sod religious type of manipulation for power…

  19. Does Commander Zavala know about the other races destroyed by the witness and the hive. I seem to recall there was a race that worshiped the darkness that the Witness and the Hive destroyed.

I guess the question is would these destructive races/groups have arrived in Sol at some point regardless of if the Traveller was present or not. If so would Sol have been in a better position to defend itself.

Given the choices made by the Vex I’m inclined to say no, but that’s just my opinion.
