Denny Hamlin’s Thoughts on the Clash, Driver Beefs, and What His Dad Didn’t Like About His Win

They discuss NASCAR’s decision to move the race to Saturday to avoid the poor weather conditions in Los Angeles. Denny talks about his winning strategy, including how the restarts helped him. They also covered the many driver conflicts that were rehashed on the short track and which ones the broadcast missed. 2. Awsome race Denny. You made an awsome comeback and I even got a pic with you before the race. The clash was fun and I hope it brought in a couple of new fans. This is your year Denny. Keep it up.

  3. I think it's a cool idea to take the money spent at a temporary setup at the Colosseum, and instead put that into updating an active short track. What's wrong with another facility reaping benefits? I think it ultimately helps NASCAR in the end. However.. I'd also argue that NASCAR needs to find cool locations to have the clash. Having it at the Colosseum is an awesome idea, especially for those that aren't avid followers of the sport. Maybe having it at another cool stadium or some kind? The location will be the wow factor for casual viewers. For a non-points race.. I think that's the #1 priority.

  4. Taylor's idea for kids (or Travis's idea lol) is GENIUS, and exactly what is needed! Idk if other kids do NASCAR podcasts, let alone Cup drivers' kids.. but how awesome would that be for younger fans?? We NEED young fans. What better way to gain their interest then a show told by kids from a kid's perspective, about kids (and drivers), for kids to connect with! Young fans are glued to their devices. This could absolutely meet a need and expand the sport. Heck, I'd be interested in watching lol.

  5. I am so a Denny Hamlin fan now because he could’ve ignored his Dad and kept up saying beat your favorite driver but instead he’s moving on to different lines which is smart on his part and his Dads part to do different lines every time he wins.

  7. Didn’t Bubba or someone get in some kind of trouble for rage quitting back when we was on virtual racing? And then Bubba literally Rage quit in real life Saturday lol luckily It looks like he may get away with it.

  8. Hahaha buddy said he beat my favorite driver, maybe you did at a meaningless race, but my favorite driver put you in the fence last year and cried like a bitch to get him suspended. I'm watching you closely this year and I will protest and cry to get you suspended, if you hit a guy slightly and turn him. I'm going to the Daytona 500 not for the race, but to protest, to have you suspended for your dirty moves at the end of the race. I know you're a NASCAR driver, but I know someone from the NASCAR team, but it's nothing cuz I don't ask for anything NASCAR for free, but I'm going to have him look at this video and Im going convince it was dirty and you need to be suspended or fined

  9. How you going to be a NASCAR driver and complain about everything. If you don't like what NASCAR is doing, then retire. NASCAR is for the fans, without fans you would be nothing. If the fans don't like something that's when NASCAR changes, not if the driver doesn't like it.

  10. Firstly congratulations on your win, must have been challenging post your surgery, loved the “I still beat your favourite driver” comment on the post-race interview.
I’m a new subscriber to the show & new to following nascar for 2024, guessing I’m not the only new listener from New Zealand since SVG is now in the Xfinity series.
Looking forward to the 24 season, let’s see if you can beat my favourite driver (SVG) when he makes some cup appearances!
    Cheers.
