Hi , I have two questions I have a black metallic bmw and after I wash it I see a lot of dust right away any suggestion what I can use as a topper not to attract the dust , and my second question is what compound would you suggest to get rid of minor scratches? I tried the 3D one step it doesn’t seem to help that much I might need something a bit stronger thanks

Great content Pan. I have been telling customers that I was unsure of UV protection claims and the best thing to preserve your paint is to garage it when not driving.

I have a question that I can't seem to find an answer to. I've asked the company I bought the paint from, and I've asked Turtle Wax. I've just painted a body panel and want to give the entire vehicle its first coat of the Turtle Wax Max Graphene liquid using a 6" DA. Neither company has replied to my question of, "How long should I wait after applying basecoat and clearcoat before I apply the ceramic coating"?

With your background, have you thought about starting your own detailing line products or brand ?
Dave needs to get out of the lab more often. Paint application quality is worse now than I've ever seen. Right from the factory 3 step is needed. Acrylic based instead of lacquer based. Fish eye. I've even seen bubbles and chips right off the showroom. Really hurts the credibility to talk up the factory paint jobs because they are crap.

I have been thinking about the wax as a topper for ceramic coating question for a while now.
As coatings are subject to water spots and every manufacturer has a topper recommendation for their coating anyway.
And a wax like gyeon wax Or collinite 845 would offer water spot protection and the coating would offer the long term protection underneath. Thanks for the informative video Pan

I was particularly interested in Question #10: Can you prevent dust from sticking to the paint.
As you can guess from my name, I live in a very hot and dusty country – even today it’s 27o. I have a car with black pearlescent paint, which looks fantastic after it’s washed and dried. BUT after a 10-15 minute drive, it’s covered in dust. It’s very frustrating.
I see that P&S Dream Maker Gloss Amplifier has anti-static properties and was wondering if you knew of any other products with similar anti-static properties?
(The vehicle is garaged and washed with softened water using 1 bucket and Bilt Hamber Auto-Foam. After drying I give it a topper of Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Pro Graphene Flex Wax.)
