  1. eventhough the final boss seems pretty underwhelming, but i think they done a good job, animation of the octopus and shark look fluid and natural. and you must know, this not a AAA game, plus its made from only 2 people.

  2. Honestly, considering you are an average sized human. That thing is fucking huge, sure it might not be the Kraken alla pirates of the Caribbean but thematically given the game's premise and build up it fits. The terrifying thing about it is it's intelligence and it's speed. It can slink off into the darkness if it's hurt and come out of it with little warning at high speed, it behaves and move's like an actual octopus does. That's what makes this great in my opinion, the fact that it isn't a stereotypical mega kraken. I'd also point out the researchers only call it a kraken, what it actually is remains to be seen. And who knows this could only be the weakest of the creatures defending this island, you've fought mermaids and this thing. God knows what else might be added as DLC or additional content.

  3. I really like their take on the kraken, is a giant octopus but not stupidly big. Feels like that something that could be real. Big enough to be a scary, not too big so that you get disoriented fighting it.

  4. When you look at the original medieval depictions of the Kraken, it is usually shown as a giant octopus, not a giant squid. The developers probably wanted to make the Kraken look like a creature that appears like an ordinary octopus based entirely on the original image.

  5. If I were in the situation like in the game, I rather use a mini-sub armed with harpoon guns than swimming in the hostile water like that or just using surface ships and dropping depth charges

  6. Esse jogo seria muito mais aterrorizante se, você não tivesse todo esse equipamento pra se proteger, e ao invés de caçar os bichos, você tivesse que estudar e catalogar eles
