  1. Great update here Dave, some great work done, a nice O gauge wagon and some very nice OO additions, good to see another of the new bachmann class 37s, I’m still after the Cwmbran version but may look into this version myself as I love split head code diesels myself, would be good to see an O gauge layout if you do intend to build one in the future I have had some additions to my collection recently one of them being the bachmann blue Pullman in full nanking blue livery, good update overall, keep up the good work.

  2. Hello, nice update. I am pleased to see it's progressing well. I noticed your retaining walls. Are they Metcalfe card kits? I am interested in what you used as I'd like something with those capping stones on top?

  3. Hi Dave, really enjoyed the video. Love the fact that you are not afraid to make a mess when applying the scenic material which is easily cleaned up when you are finished. Like the new additions to your fleet. All the best Greg

  4. Good update, I have decided to sell my 00 stock and have started to upgrade to 0 scale, 00 scale prices starting to catch some 0 gauge.Recently bought a new sound fitted 08 for Β£275 and a class 122 sound fitted for Β£350, albeit in a sale, but good value in my opinion

  5. Thanks for the update, always wonder how best to cover the edges at the lineside. Also it is funny whenever you show your wider loft space – that last bit is just as though you are working in mine! I guess it's a common new build design of house but the high pitch roof is perfect for us modellers.

  6. Split head code 37's used to be my personal favorite version of the class until 37 418 joined my fleet. Roof mounted horns, nose antenna, black domino head code box, black side nose grills and the highland stag motif absolutely blow my split boxes clear out of the water. It's got to be the single most attractive 37 I've ever seen, winning the right to haul my line's prestigious Mk2 express! Her shed-mate '025 coming in a close second with all of the above details, aside from the horns, and with black split boxes takes the older Mk1 express. There's simply nothing more iconic than a large logo 37 tearing up the highlands.
That car style headlamp is a game changer, though! So iconic to the Scottish region 37s.
Brilliant update as usual, Dave. Keep em coming! Mike.

  7. Just catching up on your layout Dave as it's been a while since I last looked. Still as impressive as it was on my last visit. Interested to see the method used along the top of the retaining wall to lay down the ground cover. I'll experiment with the method on my own layout. Cheers Euan

  8. Love that class 37 in that livery. Hope my accurascale one is as good when it arrives 😬 also love the class 20 in Railfrieght. There is one sitting in my local model shop cabinet which I’m trying to convince my wife is a must have πŸ˜‚πŸ€ž

  9. Great update Dave, I really look forward to these. The great wall area really starting to take shape. Star of the video though is that 37012! What a stunning model of what is my favourite engine, the class 37. The detailing on it is stunning!

  10. Excellent update, the addition of scenery by the great wall really enhances the wall.
The Bachmann 37 looks fantastic but unfortunately out of my price range, I'm hoping that the upcoming Accurascale 37 is at least on par with the Bachmann but a little nearer my price range.

  12. Hi Dave – As always most enjoyable and good work on the Great Wall and the close up shots does show the wall off well. Nice new additions too and it will be interesting how the Accurascale 37 compares to the Bachmann one. Do you think the Bachmann vans are overpriced compared to the detailed Accurascale wagons that are of a similar price.
    Cheers Kev
