  1. Pcs aren't optimised that's the problem I have a gaming pc but I never use it because pc sucks many games on pc don't work for me it's not the games fault it's your pcs fault. You need to optomise your pc for specific games it's not a ready to use console right out the box. This is not elden rings fault.

  2. I'll be honest I am not good at soul's games, yet. And that's the draw. I have quite a few soul's games but have to sit down and get into it. Try playing Dragon's Lair or any of those older titles that just slay you again and again. People (like myself) want to run around in a fog and blow off some steam. But that's not for everyone and that's ok.๐Ÿ˜ถ

  3. I really want to play this game, to explore its world, but I know the difficulty isn't for me.

I do wish their was an easier mode, but it's fine if it doesn't.

  4. I beat DS3 for the first time not long ago. It was a pain, and I raged a few times, but after I defeated the Soul of Cinder, it was the most satisfying victory I have ever experienced while gaming. An easy mode would definately take away from that experience.

  5. If you want an โ€œEasy modeโ€ just summon a spirit or get some friends to help ya. Or just practice and get better at the game. Simple.

Also, Hidetaka Miyazaki you are a badass!

So I shall patiently wait for the people who will be bitching about this game. I will have my popcorn ready for it

  6. They'll never give up this formula: it put them on the map of the videogame industry, basically made them the father's of skill-based RPG gaming of three generations of consoles and won them GOTY not once, not twice, but three times.

I trust their corporate interests and acumen more than their moral sense towards the consumers, and both are in our favour. Ciao journos ๐Ÿ˜˜

  7. still has a 97 for the PS5 version on metacritic but sure keep whining about the 3 articles calling this game crap, making it seem like a bigger deal than it really is cause you have to make a video today. Kinda like comparing this to CP2077's launch, that's funny

  8. Bloodborne was my first Soulsbourne, I couldn't even pass the first set of villagers, because i've never experienced this type of game before. I quit for months and only went back after hearing the soundtrack. When these games click it turns to love, but you have to be patient.
When I was done with bloodborne, I felt like a better gamer, like it taught me how to relax and learn patterns.

Can't play Elden yet because potato pc and I gave lil bro my ps4, soon as i get my ps5 i'm gonna dive in…

  9. The so called journalists keep claiming that people want some sort of easy mode for these games, but I've never actually met anyone that wanted an easy souls game. If anything, the kind of popularity of game like Jump King and Getting Over It kind of display that people want harder games more so than anything.

  10. Runs great for me 2560x1440p Max settings.
60fps 99% of the time. Never drops below 57fps.

Clean windows 11 install. All bios and all drivers updated current. Nvidia menu settings set correctly. No useless programs running in the background.

Whether it's Dark Souls, BloodBorne, Code Vein or Sekiro…

I've died countless times and tilted more than I can remember. All in all, it's been fun playing these types of games and feeling the accomplishment of FINALLY winning after what seemed like an Impossible battle.

  13. Nobody cared about the game developers like Miyazaki, not until they created a game design in regards to their game philosophy which was their main selling point. Fromsoftware could have been just any other gaming company without their difficulty mode which was their trademark and which is why people loves the challenge of playing their games. Removing those difficulty options takes away their identity as a game developer. People should have been grateful to Fromsoft when they decided to make an open world games just to be inclusive to casuals and newcomers. But it shouldn't take away their game identity and philosophy. Lots of casual players will come and go because they treated other games just like any other normal games which makes it less memorable. Therefore Fromsoft will never pander to the casuals. Only hardcore and dedicated players love this kinds of games because of difficulty and the sole reason why this kind of games is alive and thriving.

  14. It is possible to cheese just about everything in this game anyway. You can summon other players/ npc's/ used ranged weapons and magic. Also you can look up where to find over powered equipment. Seriously, these people need to get good.

  15. Anyone else not surprised that this is an issue with people who think they shouldn't have to work but still get paid??? Entitlement is such a privilege but they're never admit it though.

  17. 2:28 – Then they can do what I do which is watch a competent player livestream the game. Zero cost to them, and they get to experience the story.
I freely admit to being awful at Souls-like games, so rather than beat my head against a wall trying to "get gud" which never happens, I just watch good players instead and enjoy the lore.
