  1. Hey there and welcome to Random Madness! This channel is about showcasing and discussing response mechanics in video games. Blood and gore effects, destruction, vehicle damage and so on. Here's an overarching video on this theme:

  2. What disturbs me the most about this is how unresponsive the zombies are to this. You can brutalize them to a point that would kill a normal person from pain alone and their only concern is killing you. There's not even a speck of humanity left

  3. as impressive as it is, if they could make the skin actually behave like a literal covering for all the meaty bits instead of just a covering taht instantly vanishes when taking damage, it would REALLY tie it all together perfectly. they could actually use nvidia physx cloth destruction with a bit of tweaking to work perfectly for this, and the result would be INSANE.

  4. The blood spilling and layered gore system looks amazing. I love how the clothing actually looks torn instead of just being a part of the skin like other games. Too bad the blood pooling disappears too quickly though.

  5. I was incredibly happy to see just how much damage the weapons inflict on the zombies. Getting to see the organs and the bones and the blood everywhere was so intriguing and badass.

  6. I am German and got a cut version. What a shame. Our government thinks adults can't decide what they want to play.
The game is way shittier without the main features…

  7. It would be awesome to see a dark fantasy hack-and-slash game with this level of gore. Going through a crypt full of zombies and skeletons and smashing them to bits with a spiked mace or a heavy sword would be dope! It would be interesting to see it implemented with non-human monsters too, like giant spiders or snakes. Chopping off the tail of a giant scorpion before it could sting you would be pretty satisfying.

  8. Exploring this system on certain special zombies would be nice to see, specifically/especially the Butcher given their regenerative abilities, may be a cool sight to see all nice and close, wonder if they'll even regrow new organs and limbs if lost.

  9. This gore system is what techland told us the first game would be like until they sold out and got ruined by deep silver. They also said dead island one would let you pick up and use anything a human could realistically grab and use it as a weapon. They will never deliver on that one though probably in any game as that would be way to expensive and time consuming.
