Studies also found that Heating of THC-O Acetate released a highly dangerous lung intoxicant called Ketene and has the potential to cause another EVALI epidemic. This is due to it’s similar chemical structure of Vitamin E Acetate which also releases Ketene upon heating , which was the cause of the EVALI epidemic just a few years ago.
