Father, thank You for being SOVEREIGN.

Our God is in the heavens; he does all that he pleases. (Psalm 115:3)
Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand. (Proverbs 19:21)
The Lord has established his throne in the heavens, and his kingdom rules over all. (Psalm 103:19)
Both riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all. In your hand are power and might, and in your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all. (1 Chronicles 29:12)

Even though it may appear that evil is triumphing, you can know with certainty that God has total authority and control over all that happens in the universe. One day eyes of faith will turn to eyes of sight as you see Jesus Christ reigning in righteousness over all heaven and earth. How does God’s
sovereignty apply to your personal life according to passages like Romans 8:28-39?

Thank God for sovereignly working all things together for the best to those who love Him.
