I'm in the navy.
An oldie but goody black & white horror classic and a prelude to what's in store for us on that special night coming soon.
Stay tuned … 🙂
(I #28 LIKE it).
This outta be a great premiere this coming weekend looking forward for this premiere 👍🏼
Use to watch this in the 60tys. Loved the Boris Karloff movies!!!
Fay Wray and Lionel Atwill…This is awesome vintage horror! I think this gem was actually filmed on the set of the original The Old Dark House. Looking forward.
Looking forward to the weekend for this.
How about From Beyond the Grave, 1974, for Halloween, maybe Tangella can pick up some items from the shop Temptations Limited, as gifts, to the guests?
Whoa! You're bringing out the big guns now. David Skal is the real deal! I have several of his books. He's the go-to resource for classic horror monsters, both literary and from Hollywood's Golden Age – and beyond. "The Vampire Bat" is a "poverty row" gem of a movie directed by Frank Strayer (whose claim to fame was the "Blondie" film series from 1938 to 1943), with a deft script by Edward T. Lowe, Jr. ("The Hunchback of Notre Dame"; "House of Frankenstein"), and a strong cast (Melvyn Douglas, Fay Wray, and Lionel Atwill). It was shot at night on "borrowed" sets that had been built on the Universal backlot for such genuine classics as "Frankenstein" and "The Old Dark House." This will be an extra special CF episode, no doubt!
Theres mamals in this movie right???? Paiges love mammals
An oldie….but a goody. Classic horror, These damn good movies are the rock foundation of the greatest genre that there will ever be!!!! Long live Horror & Creature Features!!!💯💯💯💯💯
Well its actually already up here , How about something that's NOT easy to find ?. Just a Thought.. 🤔
The Vampire Bat!! Classic Horror and fun. Break out the Jiffy Pop, you will enjoy this one.
Blah, Blah, blah, I want to drink your blood!
In the midnight hour… creature feature!!!
Made for TeeVee vs. Classic Horror? I'll take the classics, lol. However, the bats… the bats… 🤣
Great guest!❤💀🧟♂️🧛🏻♂️
Vincent is looking extremely pasty, puffy and putrid tonight, agreed?
I'm a horror movie history storyuntion.
Wow , this really is a fantastic old movie ! I'm really impressed by it . Great actors too .
Thanks for a fun night ! 😊
Great classic flick. Amazing filming considering the technology at the time. Electricity itself was a new thing and the camera equipment was primitive by todays standards. They were also just learning how to make movies versus stage plays.
Cool beans, thank you Creature Features.
David would be left speechless by Tangella removing his tongue during his commentary tapping.
Ha ha haaa, Good Tangella.
But he could still write books 🤣
Thank you all for a great evening, I wish we could see what happens after the films shown. THE AFTER PARTY in Bodega’s Mansion 🩸
For those of you Trolls who don't get it, Jeff Geer comes up with the last word in chat, and he does that by giving us an educational new word that means something each week, it's not a contest.
🇺🇸🥇🏅🎖️🏆👏👏👏🙏🦹🧛🤗 Whit all do respect Greetings to the great team of "Creature Feature" "Specialy Tangela" my Héroe sincerely José Silva From San Diego CA.
Excellent guest.
I bet Tangella was alive long before 1933. Despite her cute outward appearance, she strikes me as one of them undead bitey things 😄
Fell asleep sorry!
I grew up reading “Famous Monsters of Film Land” with Frankenstein’s Monster head filling up the cover.
Enjoyable!
Loving ❤️
Another Wonderful Movie and a Great Guest. I can't ait to get his books, they sound wonderful and informative. Just like you Guest John Stanley Wonderful Stories teller, like tonight. Love to hear about the days of Cinema before my time. We lose so many of those great actors lives each day. They are part of history and should be saved at all cost. O be spending my Friday and Saturday Nights with you Vince and Tangella, and Mr. Livingston. Well have a great week you all and see you next weekend. Would love to hear any stories about your haunted house Vince. Do you film the show there or is that a back drop behind you?
At 1:00, the scene in the garden with the basket of fruit the simpleton is hungry for, i noticed the fruits are apples, pears & grapes, autumn fruits for a Halloween movie. Details!
I saw "Nosferatu" 1922 for the first time about 50 years ago in a small movie theatre near UBC in Vancouver, still the scariest, still the best Vampire movie of all time. The 2nd best being Roman Polanski's "The Fearless Vampire Killers" 1967, which is scary & also extremely hilarious. Will you show them both please? This Vampire movie is pretty good too.
Love you Vincent
This should be called The Fauci bat.
Interesting to see those actors
In the beginning of their movie careers
Back when it probably cost a dime
For a movie and a few pennies for 🍿
Awesome classic 😈💜
best show ever.. hi Nijela 🙂
They should renamed the movie the vampire BatMan.
Great movie, really good acting. What a find, can't believe I've never seen this one.
I have seen that movie once.
So during the intro there's a scene with a guitar player struck by lightning, what movie is that?
Batman is more scaryer than dracula and franknstestein or any other Monster.
Great guest! Hope you bring him back again. It was fun to hear his stories.
I LOVE the old B&W horror movies!!!! Loved hearing David Skal!!!!
Creature Features, Thank you for filling my bucket of blood with entertainment. Have a nice day Creature Features.
