We take a look at an article that was released a few days ago that suggests that The Division Heartland will be similar to Tarkov, and I share my thoughts. Join our Division Community: https://discord.gg/gcrock

The Division Heartland is an upcoming free to play game being created by Ubisoft, Red Storm. The title has attracted a lot of interest since its announcement but very little details have been given to us by ubisoft themselves, other than the news that the game was being made and got delayed. In this recent article that was published on Xfire they confirm what I have been hoping for since day one and I have never been more excited for The Division Heartland.

  1. No idea why they've excluded solo/pve option. That will seriously limit the amount of interest in the game. Obvoiusly they've forgotten just how many Division players detested the DZ!.

  2. I loved watching that cycle game, that looked awesome, so if heartland is anything like that I'm hyped, I'm hyped for it any way. I'm not necessarily a battle Royal fan but i sometimes play CoD. But yes looking forward to Heartland 100%

  3. Its a free to play game yes. so how can you get excited over it when it's pay to win they have to make money from it some where I have followed you for a long while now you could at least talk about that side of it to put people's minds at ease

  4. In D1 and D2 I spend a couple thousand hours on xbox looting and building different builds. I may have to watch the a few more times, but it seems it will not allow agents to live in this environment. Sounds like a mix of DZ and Conflict. Thankfully it is free so I'll be playing to the extent I can.

  5. The problem I have is exactly what you said about this and that is it's not official it's a 3rd party source so you have to take it all with a pinch of salt.
Whatever turns out to be true will be praised whereas if something is wrong you'll never hear of it again.

  6. Personally I'd prefer they add more PvE content as game cound use more missions, events, raids, and maybe even some gameplay additions/changes to classes/specializations. So I'm not so excited as I was never a fan of the dark zone

I will say though if they made a dark zone where that was more on the PvE side but with a chance of limited and timed pvp that only happened in a form of a timed invasion or advance that might be a dark zone I would like.

Taking into account the games UbiShite has released lately… No, not even in the same galaxy.
As for PvP only games, a cheap and lazy way not to have to code proper AI into a game. Isn't it strange that games with the best AI came out more than a decade ago? This would have been before "Always Online" was a thing, and developers had to put out a proper game that worked "out of the box".
From what I've read, there is no excitement on my part, on the contrary. Without taking into account that all UbiShite games are at least 90% worse than our worse expectations.
As for Tarkov, been playing it since the early launch (a few years ago), and no, I don't think Ubi can even begin to understand it, much less get anywhere near it.
Back to basics, I would say. The best of The Division, along with the best of Division 2 into a game called Division 3. Is that too much to ask for?
Besides, Ubisoft games are now a studio that caters exclusively to "consol gamers" (in the worst meaning of the expression). I don't see many console gamers ever embracing a game like Tarkov, so, at best, it will be a dumbed-down, child-like depiction, with horrible controls, and a kindergarten colour pallet, like that horrible thing you are playing,
    Cheers.

  8. comparing a game to Tarkov is insane. nothing is like Tarkov. they have deep dived into real world sounds, gear attributes and weapons. partnered with arms manufacturers and scanned tons of real world equipment.

  9. I’m going to say The DZ concept was the bare bones of what tarkov is now, tarkov just refined and did better than The divisions D, I can see a lot of issues a major one is these classes, they should just make it solely about gunplay and getting out and surviving and completing missions in that zone, another issue is going to be bulletproof sponge enemies this could really kill this quick cause no one will want to have long time to kill in a free to play game, the UI during the storm mode has to be on point cause if it’s not easy to use and quick it’s going to be a nightmare trying to figure what’s good loot
