As you said the pistol was not the best weapon.

Ben you should come to Blue Goo DF server and see the base we had to build to survive a horde…. And so you can use the laser M60! And YES you should have given yourself the BEST weapons and all the best mods…..stack all buffs and as you can see, Get ready to die.

Took me till the end of the Video to realize that base design looked like a bull!! Well done! those Df hordes are some of the most intense i have seen!
And the Demon lord has AOE damage of like 16 blocks or something

I did try something similar but i did give myself the m60 lasergun for the fight , didnt change much anything lol got kill and didnt kill much , that what i meant when i say DF dont have a playable endgame .
I have been thinking, which I don't do very often, next time you do a playthrough of anything have a truck ton of clean underwear. Just saying
