  1. To answer your last question Ben, "Return of the Jedi" was such a big disappointment for me. It was the first "Spoiler" I ever experienced. Standing in a long line at the local mall which housed the only theatre near enough to see it opening weekend, we were subjected to the previous showing's finished audience, where some 'young wag' shouted, "Darth Vader IS Luke's Father!". My group had been debating for two or three years by then whether or not Vader had been "Gas Lighting" Luke with His 'revelation' in "Empire Strikes Back", and we were All keen on finding out during the Film. Needless to say, that soured my expectations going into the too small theater, and finding a seat anywhere, much less together was fuel to the fire burning against it. My first impressions of Jabba's Palace were "Hmm, this seems awfully 'California' to me", and "Is this the Muppet Show?". Then the Ewoks and Harrison Ford's 'phoned in' portrayal of Han Solo fully disillusioned me to The Epic-ness that "Star Wars" had been several years earlier. If it hadn't been for the Death of the Emperor and Darth Vader's redemption arc, I would have panned the whole film. My final thought as the (Original) End credits rolled was "This sounds like a Disney Film". One (later) change that I fully endorsed was when they re-scored the "End Titles" to a more 'New Age' sound. George Lucas could not stick the landing, and after making the best sequel since "Frankenstein meets the Wolf-Man" to a Movie franchise, I had hoped for something better. Thank Goodness for Peter Jackson who later proved that a "Perfect Trilogy" could be made. – 'Nuff Said.

  3. The reason Candace is invaluable is because she says and gets a more insightful point across in half the words. Contrary to every personality here that gets their point across in triple the words. Mat is almost completely incoherent to the point mats ability to lose his train of thought is entertainment by itself.
