  1. I have the same Earthquake impact and it's definitely the best 1 inch air impact i have but i couldn't get a couple bolts busted loose but the 1 inch Milwaukee done it no problem but i don't think the Earthquake was getting sufficient air flow. So how many ton is that Gallion rated for?

  2. I was told a story about some firefighters who were sent to help with the Rodney King riots, got sent in an old white painted fire engine with the Super WP emblem on the hood, they had to lay low and not be seen in that thing out in the streets of LA during those days

  3. Good morning Jeff on this ’24 Easter weekend

    i wish you well
and hope for blessings in your space, work life and wonderings
your endless scheming (where is Mr Griff btw?)

Am really amazed at how you tackle the HD equipment so ‘all by yourself and lonesome’
and overcome any and all as though its a normal, everyday thing❓

It reflects a kind of frontier spirit and tenacity
    which i admire immensely

    So
    thanks for all the shares
    and comments and tips
    and proving, once again,
if one is committed and serious
and willing to put your shoulders up and against
IT CAN AND WILL BE DONE
and the outcome will be good

Most enthralling episodes these of yours with your machines, the people in them, the terrain and Life
    and the work you do

Think CAT INC should award you a Lifetime honourory achievement award for dealing so carefully and faithfully with their machines
and proving clearly how sturdy they are
showing how many hours of Life they’ve got in them,
if you know what you are doing
    and understand well their heartbeat
    their ways
    their particular needs

Great that you even warm up the big Diesel Motor patiently and NEVER (from what we can see or hear😳⁉️) scream and shout at them…with hickups👊

    Extraordinarily well done
    Keep it going
TREMENDOUS example of ‘never say die’ fortitude

    to which i relate endlessly…‼️

    Great stuff JPay
    and thanks stacks again🥂

  4. There's the Torque Test Channel which does comparison of different electric and air wrenches, their videos are worth looking at for real comparisons. For some reason they think the manufacturers lie. Who knew?

  6. The sound of a big bore Clatterpillar pre chamber engine starting never gets old. Anyway pretty good service life from those track rollers Jeff. Gallion for the win, those damn track frames are some kind of heavy and awkward to handle. The equalizer bars and fighting the diagonal brace in those big cats are kind of a pain in the ass. Jacking up the tractor to remove the frames are always an exercise in what do I have that will work it seems! At least it has a back jack build in! I cannot say I have ever seen those bolts on the carrier roller frame all broke at the same time! I have broken them trying to remove them though. Oh well…Drill Baby Drill 😁 Man you still have the cylinder mount brackets? You are a Cat God Jeff! 😁 Cheers

  7. …awesome Jeff
    thanks

was SERIOUSLY worried about the blocks under the Old Girl’s nose

Thought some undue movement would make them pop out❓

Looks like you got it nailed…though.

    Good luck
Hope all the bolts come undone somehow…

  8. Crooked 6 x 6s from the local lumber yard make great cribbing. We used a crib on each corner when I had the track frames off my 6. I had maybe a $100 bucks in them We cut them into 2’ pieces at the lumber yard. And the ard was glad to get the snakes sold.

  12. There are some organizations that love / restore the antique trucks such as ATHS – Antique Truck Historical Society. They have a classified section where you might get a few thousand for that old White fuel truck. Yep the "Wheels of Time" is the ATHS publication and in the back you will find classifieds of old trucks.
