CZ Shadow 2 Compact: Unsafe or just dangerously accurate and fun?! First shots!!

Taking the world wide gun industry by surprise, CZ has unveiled a new and improved Shadow. At first, we admittedly were skeptics, mostly because we try not to buy into hype, but we were pleasantly surprised!

CZ makes fine firearms and we cant wait to see wait else they come out with. Until then…. Let’s enjoy the CZ Shadow Compact 2!

  1. I am skeptical about the aluminum Frame on the new Shadow compact. I know many manufacturers have pistols that share aluminum Frames with Steel slides. However, I remember somewhere hearing that the combination of both different metals, (aluminum being a softer metal) than steel might eventually cause galling and wear from the friction between both Frame and Slide. Whereas a steel Slide sliding on a steel Frame stays true.

  2. Very nice . They make a beautiful gun just heavy for me to carry so it would be a target gun . Though I did get a paddle holster for my cz75 bd so that could be a possibility one day for a shadow . Good review

  3. Im going to get a cz shadow 2. Its been on my list for some time. I just never see them in shop often. I wouldn't carry this because its kinda expensive and nice looking so i would just have it as a awesome piece at the range or something like that. The glock is the carry. It can handle the abuse it has to deal with on a daily basis. Great review. Always enjoy the videos while i have coffee and look at my stuff.

  4. Without the trigger being depress it's not going to shoot. I carry mine cocked and lock and I don't see it to be an issue. It defeats the purpose of it being an EDC, conceal carry if one don't carry it cocked and locked.

  6. Most people would rather have a decocker to drop hammer on live round without having to press the boom pedal! Why they did this who knows but that would be the only reason I wouldn't buy it because its not to safe to manually drop hammer on live round! Pretty cringy considering they marketed this as a carry gun and the price!
