I’ve been using your advice for 2 years on my 10 acre plot in northern Ohio. Hoping for big things this fall! First year with a food plot! Thanks Jeff
Winter Rye is superb. I love the stuff. It's easy to plant, cheap, grows like a champ. Thank you Jeff! I [layer] all my plots with it because it fills the gaps with tender loving treats for the deer when I want them to be there.
[Edit: spelling]
Lots of corn out there. Nice.
Looking forward to you entire property layout video…. Help put it all together for all of us….
Jeff, do you have any advice for keeping turkeys out of food plots? They hammer one of my plots everytime I try to seed it.
A 110X440 property is common. Will neighbors clear it of deer just by traveling their fence lines because it's so narrow?
Always so happen when you do videos on small parcels! Keep up the great work and just so you know you show up on Google news feeds now so congratulations on that!
It doesn’t take a big parcel to have great hunting. Creating high quality habitat in the right area can bring in lots of deer.
Great tips, as always. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for this! I hunt several 40-60acre properties and have started good plotting them and setting up stands. This helped me have a better idea of what NOT to do!
Will an active bear on a small parcel ruin a deer hunt?
I really enjoy that you can still have success hunting while enjoying your property outside of the season
I have a very mixed area to hunt. The inside portion is very thick TONs of cover, surprisingly bucks walk-in this area freely must be using the logging roads I sprayed out.
The outside edge I plan to access isn’t very wide. And I’ll jab into the thick portion very carefully but the rest of the 100-105 acres is a big steep valley the top 20-25 acres is difficult to hunt and to get to the back side of this acreage I have a logging road I have to walk the rest is WAY too thick! But trials cross cross from above the logging road to below several times on the way into the back.
Not sure if it’s a good idea to try a sneak back there or not
jeff, no shipping to canada? im in ontario.
Would it be beneficial or detrimental to add a waterhole on a bow stand in between bedding and food source when there is lots of water on the property? Around a 300 acre parcel
Great video as always jeff!
Jeff, love the content and the knowledge you give to us! Great work. This video concerned me a bit. I am on 120 acre parcel that is surrounded by city on three sides and is a multi generational playground for hunting and atv riding. Bottom line is I can’t keep the center of the property free of activity. We some have areas we don’t hunt or ride in. My question is can you have a dual purpose parcel of land, that is used to city pressure and harvest mature bucks? Or am left with so so hunting if we use this for other things.
Good morning. First I really do enjoy your videos. I know a lot of folks ,like you hunt bigger pieces of land, big farms Many of us hunt a more residential area. 5-10-20 acres pieces with homes ,overgrown woods. Little far ing and maybe a horse farm around. These areas the deer get used to being around people. There used to be a couple guys who hunted areas just like this on utube. I have pics of giant deer eating apples in my moms back yard. Dogs, people, kids. Lawn mowing going on. I would really like to find site that highlights this type of area
Dylan’s the man still can’t believe he was out at our property! We now have a solid game plan and are working every day towards success. Thanks again Dylan and all of you at WHS!!!
i need some deer farm in my life
