Is it just me, or did the video quality go way up.
Pre-recording has it benefits i guess…
Get rid of the pronouns. Itβs going to isolate a section of the fanbase who donβt want politics in their game. Itβs not needed for gameplay.
With all of the "recommendations" for building a character, having some for "experiences" to help generate ideas and concepts may be helpful.
"Talking."
I can not wait for more. So fun.
I hate the fact it keeps zooming in for no reason with a burning fury
I'd love to see some character arts, if they keep going with this.
Awesome to hear the witcher soundtrack again. I was getting a bit tired of the ding, ding, ding, ding (high-low) soundtrack in the main campaign (Sam knows what I am talking about)
I wonder if this is the system theyll use for campaign 4 and move away from D&D
Fantastic gameplay! Please bring the Menagerie back for more adventures! (If more no other reason than Sam needs to suffer more for this Seep he invented π)
I hope merisha dont stick with that voice
I do hope Marisha embrace the Screaming Goat / Mountain Goat aspect, and Laura knows the rule… "rogues do it from behind" π
THIS NEEDS TO BE A CAMPAIGN! the characters are AMAZING
Ashley's "Fade into the background" would be super-nerded as "Somebody Else's Problem" from Douglas Adams HHGTTG series. I might run with a "SEP Field" myself now that I think about it.
I'm so glad to see Daggerheart being explored! Can't wait for the final version. β€οΈ
Laura giving high school exam vibes lol
You guys neet to invite Sean so he can teach the cast how to speak Irish accent.
Came here from DnDShorts analysis video. I've downloaded the Beta test and going to run through it with my group!
The editing on this video is horrible, why are there so many random close up shots?
Does this have to be a one-shot?????
I thought I was going crazy, but that is music from The Witcher 3 in the back ground at 26:00
So… We agree Travis is playing heracross the wizard right?
alright. who's ready to play this with me
You can create your own features unique to you? THATS SO COOL!!!
Am I the only one who thinks that Talisien sounds a little like George Clooney? He has the same rumble. He could probably do a really good Clooney impression.
I love these session zeros, and seeing bits of the story come together. Thank you for sharing, CR Team!β€
I know it's a Daggerheart-focused video, and y'all know and trust each other very well, but this would have been a great opportunity to showcase how to make Lines and Veils during Session #0!
The higher production value on this video makes the viewing experience much more engaging, would love to see this more often!
I'm so Laura Bailey in making character π€
WAWA MENTIONED
i have to say that 1 single line can help a player feel at ease with a vision of their "play", it's just an example, but when Ashley is stating the 2 Foundations for sorcerer ( 9:45 ), the sentence "You can channel this element into unique, harmless effects" is one of the more impactful, for me, in the roleplay and immersion with the world and i'm in love.
Lauras character makes me think of the dancing mushrooms in fantasia
Already made a fungril Ranger called Chantarelle, and I wanna use her as in a game soonish. π
The only question for Taliesin: Does Dante also have Nic Cages overacting ability?
Iβm so gonna download and play this. This is pretty exciting.
I know variety in the game is important, but I feel like a whole party of Ribbets would be incredible.
Always enjoy the Princess Bride references π
I also love that Laura and Ashley are Gumball and Darwin π
love Marisha character its betty Boop meets Manon from street fighter 6 and ivy cosplay from soul caliber
I think the only issue I see are there are many players who want no input and just like gameplay and won't wanna do more participating than their characters need too, so it's up to the DM to work around their characters not being involved in everything
I hope they eventually build an app like DND beyond. Being able to add and subtract hope by clicking a screen would be great.
Faeries being bugs is a really neat concept. I love trying new systems in tabletop and I'm very interested in getting my group to try Daggerheart out when we're finished with our current campaign. I love the backround questions part of character creation where player's have prompts to build connections between their characters during session zero. I know it's a concept many players homebrew into their campaigns, but making it an official part of creation with question prompts is a good thing to spread the idea around.
If I don't have to DM I'm going to make a Cricket (Faerie) Wordsmith named Jim Nee.
3:00 Sinceriously
Idk if I'm just noticing this but…the ability to zoom in on each person as they're talking or reacting, I really like it and had been hoping for it for a while now. Especially for merch or if they're trying to show a dice off. Or even in deep one person roleplay sections with Matt or each other.
Less then 15 minutes in and I can tell you it doesn't matter what it's actually called mushroom people are Fun-girls.
I have a VERY important question! Given that Daggerheart is a 2d12 system, and the (apparently) flagship game of CR, will CR change their logo away from a stylized D20???
55:44 Ahsley is just GREAT, what a cool bg lol
I got a little stress trying to understand the leveling process. Perhaps it's just because I don't see the sheets.
Absolute chaos. Can't wait to pore over the options and then see how things shake out for these characters. Only thing is I'm not sure how to feel about is Liam's accent.
Where is the timestamps person?
Lauraβs mug looks like Gudetama π
