Join me as I dive—back on camera—into the eerie world of Doctor Nowhere’s THE BOILED ONE PHENOMENON. This chilling analog horror series touches on themes familiar to fans of SCPs, featuring amnestics, cognitohazards, and an anomalous broadcast that plunged many into a frightening pseudo-coma (“Locked-in Syndrome”) in the early 2000s.

In this reaction and review, I explore the haunting narrative, the clever integration of SCP-like elements, and share my thoughts from the unique perspective of an analog horror creator (GREYLOCK). Alongside some light-hearted jokes, we’ll explore the elements that make THE BOILED ONE PHENOMENON stand out in the realm of internet horror.

Whether you’re a long-time fan of analog horror, a follower of SCP Foundation tales, or just love a good mystery that sends shivers down your spine, this video is for you! Don’t forget to hit SUBSCRIBE for more and let me know how you like this kind of content in the comments!

Personally, though I needed to clean off some of the rust, I had a lot of fun doing this and can’t wait to do more.

  2. Hey Rob, and anyone watching, interesting youtube thing. The < and > buttons make the video go frame by frame. If you need to read something that in 1-2 frames only those really help more than speed pausing. Hope this helps in future video watching for everyone.

  3. oh hey! greylock!
i adore it both for the indirect and direct horror
one Indirect* example being the name of "unit 13" because of the historical context of that unit

  4. I've watched you for ages, way before your last name change. You really did build up my teenage years, Man. I'm so happy to see you accomplish so much and still do the things that you enjoy like Greylock. I also wanna see you do more of these types of videos! I love seeing your reactions and hearing your feedback

  6. Nope. I've known about you since 5+ years ago, enjoying the Seriously Disturbing content. And then I got into ARGs – and I was so surprised when I found out "Rob Gavagan" was involved in creating the Greylocks! I'm glad to see your growth man!

  7. Hey man , if you reversed the audio of the boiled ones speaking when you first see what he looks like , it says : “ The very memory of my face will cause a manifestation of my being in the future . You will be asleep in bed , i will be there , to watch over you . When you wake you will not be able to move any part of you . When the doctors eventually find you , they will not see me . But you will , and ill see you too . Forever ill see you “

  8. Dude, Greylock is the first thing I’ve seen as an adult that made me genuinely uncomfortable to be in my own house. I’ve been watching on and off since 2016 and had no idea you created it. Awesome job 👍

  10. Did u look up, find, or like me, stumble upon, a vid or even better a short here on YT, doing exactly what I immediately thought of when "boiled one" came on towards the end of the LAST part of the series so far?
It was the clip of him yappin all garbled, and just before the message came on saying "IF YOU SAW THIS….!blah blah….!!!..blah blahblah…," whixh I'm sure it doesn't take a Shakespeare or Sherlock Holmes of Analog Horror to figure out it was backwards, soooo…
Loops me back to beginning of this comment: have u seen a video of that part played backwards, which of course means we can clearly (ish) here what homeboy says?
If not, just search BOILED MAN and the same short I just watched should be boom bingo bango right there…

Pretty creepy as fcuk… but also, there's a good 5 seconds or so that made me think, "his voice is kinda dainty…can't tell if that's funny or more frightening…"

    😂😂😅😅

  11. Hey just a little tip if you are going to be doing more of these. You can move frame by frame on youtube videos by using the "<" and ">" keys instead of using the arrow keys or pausing/playing repeatedly. Hope this helps!

  12. Analogue Horror is amazing, so much better than anything Hollywood puts out, It's original or a concept is taken and expanded upon creating whole worlds to explore, my introduction to AH was Kane Pixels Backrooms and from there i found Mandela Catalogue and one who has become my new personal favorite; Vita Carnis by Darian Quilloy, as an artist myself i love his body horror art style.
