I mean, he diserved it: he had a single army, he overcommited, never cared for map control, never went for heal on himself when he was low, didn't make any horse arcer even though he knew there were nazgul. At least he used cloud break just before trampling (into pikes 😱, survived only thanks to gc).
Next charge in the pelannor filds, shanks should lead the charge!
