In the fiefdom of Hykyo, on the northwestern edge of the Weeping Lake, three factions gather in secret to decide the fate of the Church-occupied Broken Oaks and the future of their people. Elrond Truefire, the owner of the Lonely Inn and the unofficial guildmaster of the Corvanis Adventurer’s Guild, is in danger.
