Clearly they don't know Philippines, it's a rule of thumb for singers/vocalists to always sing live because in the Philippines singing is not even a talent, it is a chore that we always do. Being just a good singer in the Philippines would not give you popularity, you have to have something else more than that.

he a singer but he cant recognize a live perf. good sir, there are a lot of singers that can hit high notes continuously and still sound perfect, like morissette. she aint out of breath after all that cos she’s that good. and the song is one of the easiest song she ever did a cover of. there are lots of songs she covered that are harder than against all odds like never enough, all by myself, listen, emotions, we belong together and etc. she can even do all that without mic and accompaniments and still sound as amazing as she did here, maybe better cos those are literally bare covers.
