“Country House” is a horror story by the little-known author, Ewen Whyte. First published in the September 1949 edition of Weird Tales, the story was described as follows: “A strange rendezvous with the beauty of the country … and the terror of the darkness!”

  2. You have come such a looong way in your storytelling. I love how you’ve slowed down and even your voice is somehow different and better. You come to bed with me every single night and have for four or five years now and Ive listened to some stories many times. I never knew there were so many stories or how much I’d love hearing them! Anyway, I just wanted to tell you how much I love listening to you – you are a rockstar storyteller and you mean an awful lot to me so I thank you for all your hard work!
