As an apartment fire raged, an Illinois woman dangled her 5-year-old daughter out the window, hoping someone below would catch her. That’s when a neighbor sprang into action and grabbed a bed sheet. Three good samaritans joined with three cops to hold out the bed sheet, hoping to catch the terrified five-year-old girl. Thankfully, they were able to safely catch her. Fire chief Terry Schadt says the rest of the family was rescued by a ladder.
