Colorado Pet Tax – Dystopian nightmare or never going to happen?

A recent proposed tax act in Colorado could set a trend for the other states in the US and perhaps push beyond the US. Is this a dystopian nightmare that could ruin the pet hobby, or is it something that would never pass?

  1. A Denver news station reports Regina English's intention with HB24-1163 was to create a registry, especially for seniors, so first responders can contact a supplementary caretaker for pets whose primary person(s) need to be hospitalized, etc. Nice intention but crazy misguided execution re: drafting the legislation.
