  1. This week was total confirmation of just how beautiful this podcast is. Constant niggling and sniping at least one member wanting to be elsewhere. Despite this, perhaps even because of it, this remains the best thing on the Internet by a mile. Thank you chaps top work.

  2. Love you gentlemen for your individual and collective personalities, opinions and points of view. Enjoying how you working the podcast floor. I have to add after watching every episode from week 1 Friday, for me personally, I like the new visual in the intro but wasn't a fan of the music added for highlights. The previous hard cut of highlights into the pod felt like a reflection of the no-nonsense nonsenese light hearted attitude you gentlemen deliver so elegantly and entertainingly. Like the new ideas and visuals maybe if possible change the music to something not so generic or gimmicky. two pennies added 😁🙌😘

The most upper class car podcast going but love listening to it. 😂

  4. I love this podcast. I love Manish. I love Scotty Walker. The old man’s back again is the greatest song I’ve ever heard. I’ve never been so captivated by a song in my life and continue to do so each time I listen

  5. 5 blokes chatting about cars, some of it bollocks which makes me chuckle, but most of it audible heaven. Thank you, please don’t stop these.

  6. Literally laughing out loud listening to Manish and the road signs! These podcasts just get better and better! And sorry Mr. "motoring journalist", but Chris is correct. A 2013 Golf is a Mk6. Cheers!

  7. Definite favourite set of road signs, are here in Ireland, normally preceded with the squiggly road sign, are the warnings painted on the road that say 'slow', then 100yards later, just before the corner, that say 'Slower' – change to 3rd think about 2nd!

  8. Paul Weller's album Wildwood should be required ownership for anyone who considers themselves a
music fan. It's an absolutely stellar album. I have the original CD & 2 copies of the expanded collector's edition.
I have quite alot of Paul Weller's music in my collection of over 12,000 CDs 🙂

  9. Currently enjoying [chemo-related] insomnia so what better time than 4am to catch up with this brilliant show. Have been a fan since the first. I enjoy the chemistry and the diverse backgrounds of all 5 of you. Favourite signs and much of this episode had me in stitches. May the show live long & prosper.
Music suggestion…..watching Ted Lasso at the moment…..Diamond Dogs

  10. Simply the best podcasts about cars and driving out there. Sublime 👏👍

This episode resonates. Until last year we used to live close to Unter with a capital C 😂 (We lived/worked other end of Abula Pass in La Punt in Switzerland ) and the weekend blast over the top in my Caterham xflow always an epic treat).

Moved to Saudi (Riyadh) last August. Last night I went out for a meal with friends…passed my flat on the way back (on other side of four lane car crash car park) and it took me two hours to get back to it….not so much distance/direction but traffic hell. Chris Harris, I feel your ‘Dubai’ pain from a KSA perspective…😩🤯🤬👆👉👇👈🤷‍♂️😂

2 car garage. My daughters are 27 and 19 and in France. Just invested in used 1.3 Suzuki Swift and looking at a Mazda Miata (MX5) or Subaru Impreza circa 1997/8. They are both petrol heads and looking ahead, R34 skyline and ‘77 Camaro (bumblebee) beckon. I’ll be broke…😮

ZZTop – yes. Saw them last at Montreux in 2013. AC/DC and Van Halen around that time too 😎🤘👌

Keep up the outstanding work gents – a slice of UK motoring brilliance appreciated fully here in Saudi Arabia 👊😎🙏

  11. I shouted “YES” very loudly, to the surprise of my kids who thought I was intently listening to them telling me how they had been chased across a field by some cows, when Chris Cooper intoned that all sat navs should only point North upwards. No one I know under the age of 30 has any idea how to read a map, or where places are in relation to others. When all the junk in orbit around the earth finally wipes out all satellites, a la Gravity, god help them.

  12. When you watch some of this weekends footage the WRC drivers aviating over the crests in Rally Finland (foot to the floor), it kind of shows the F1 boys what a load of risk averse pussies they all are. driving around in circles and with legions of arse lickers (carrying a towel, a tape recorder, holding their helmet's for them holding an umbrella over them), accompanying their every move.
You can probably see, I am done with F1.

  13. Love Manish's Indian road signs (travel the world with you guys!) & his beautiful garden, & quite agree about maps & getting lost. Straw poll of mates, all disagree with the venerated Chris C re pointing sat nav to north, best to face direction of travel surely? Wondering if the great Chris H is trying to turn into a teenager/Paddy McG with the smutty unfunny comments?

  14. Another fantastic episode!
A topic that I’d love to hear discussed that I don’t think they have is, good kit cars. Have they experienced any? Specifically a Cobra replica 🤞

  15. As a psychology graduate, I did not expect the Dunning-Kruger effect to be mentioned here haha

For those interested their original research was titled:
"Unskilled and Unaware of It: How Difficulties in Recognising One's Own Incompetence Lead to Inflated Self-Assessments"

Manish reading out those road signs had me rolling with laughter!

Can confirm Chris, Dubai is unpleasant to navigate. I even had a taxi driver end up taking a 45min 'detour' in getting me back to my hotel (including a phone call to the hotel for the best directions). Thankfully he was apologetic and didn't charge me the extended fee.

  16. I cant get through a Friday now without watching the podcast. The only thing that has begun spoiling them is the increasing use of the word that starts with F and ends with ucking. You chaps don't need to do it. There are plenty of other words in the English language. Im not a prude, but I think you're all better than this. cheers
