Cold War Zombies The GOOD The BAD and The CRUNCH I Call of Duty Cold War Zombies Review

Hello there fellow Zombie Slayers! My name is Stanley557! From humble beginnings as a small side mode in World at War, to the expensive car crash known as Black Ops 4, back to humble beginnings, Cold War Zombies is a return to form for the experienced team at Treyarch. Will the game redefine what it means to be a zombies gamemode or will it crumble under its own weight and fail to regain its composure? Well I’m glad you’ve all stuck around with me thus far, so let’s answer these questions and more as we go through my complete review of Call Duty Cold War Zombies: The Good The Bad and The Crunch!

The way attachment should have worked in Outbreak should have been completely different. I'm thinking that to justify the FLOOD OF SCRAP every weapon you find comes in with NO attachments and at the upgrade station you have to craft them using scrap. And I'm thinking the attachment cost rises with both the weapon tier AND stage progression. I.e: I want to add a double mag on a tier 1(green) AK-47 on stage 1, I would need to use 100 scrap or 20 prime scrap. BUT if I want to do it with higher tier on higher stages, thinking a 1.5× cost multiplier for each tier (multiplied from base price and not previous price, to prevent having to potentially pay 1250 scrap for 1 attachment) and a 1.5× for each stage. I think this would have kept the mode from getting boring as you get a fully set build on stage 1 AND would have actually made player have to think on what to use their scrap for. (They should also prevent lethal's from dropping as often, and definitely remove stim from regular zombie drops) Having players think "Should I add attachment first? What about tacticals? I could use some stims. Oooh but what about lethals? O-or killstreaks! Decisions, decisions…". AND ON TOP OF THAT it would make events like the Omega helicopter MUCH more rewarding since you would have this stash of scrap for all of it.

  2. I thoroughly enjoyed all of CW Zombies. I think it's the best installment of Zombies since Black Ops 1..I thought BO 2, 3, and 4 Zombies what absolute garbage..the only thing I wish CW did differently what Mauer Der Toten. I personally think this map was the worst in CW. I don't know why but I hate this map and never play it anymore after attempting the Easter Egg 5 times. It just isn't good..the only good thing is the Wonder Weapon. But for me I can't justify why others like it so much..either way everyone enjoys different things!

  3. What the actual fuck

    Thousands of hours played
Hours listening to lore and shit

And you were the only one that came forward, super clearly about the big bad guy being the first guy they sent in there

Props to you for putting it in such a clearer way for us!!!

Edit: this now puts wayyy forward the theory that the dark aether is corrupting Samantha, in ways, we might not yet understand… she might even already be planned to be the next bad guy actually after looking at the whole video

  4. I haven’t played any cod zombies before, and when I bought Cold War I figured I’d try it, but I wanted to know if it was good or not. The rest of the game was though, so I think it should be good. Still haven’t tried it.

  5. I think cold war zombies is super boring, the map layouts are really boring too, the ideas for the maps are cool (except firebase z) but it felt like every door u bought opened up gigantic lots of empty space, square shaped lots. I remember in maps like call of the dead the doors were so different to what u were able to access and moving through certain areas were risky, u had to make the descision.

But the cold war maps are so big that u dont even think about anything its just, shoot zombies, get points upgrade. Also even tho it isnt super useful the fact u cant repair barriers of like 75% of doors is a minus. I felt often the emersion was breaking it didn't feel scary or disturbing even when u think it should be. Maps like five were very uncomfortable to play.

  6. Zombies died the moment they added warzone mechanics.

Regardless of the game it’s with the best zombies experienced came from being good on their own regardless of what’s happening in multiplayer. BO3 had the most diverse and hype zombies and was the best overall and yet had nothing in come with multiplayer. One was on the ground the other in the air. Yet they were good. The best after waw. Shame.

  7. So like Molotov's absolutely fuck up almost every special and elite enemy with ring of fire and its super slept on for dealing megatons on high rounds. Also cold war is going for the more gorunded response to the dark aether outbreak, they havent had much time to use it to make the more personality driven wonder devices in Aether as 115 isnt the cause of the outbreaks

  8. Just ain't for me dawg – Randy Jackson. I find some of what they've done with zombies interesting but I cannot get into it like I did back in my old OG black ops days. For me personally, that was the pinnacle of zombies. I mean you go to the moon and destroy the freaking planet. Plus with the old crew being gone.. I just don't see it having any real appeal imo. But I hope others can find enjoyment out of it.

  9. Before doing the easter egg for Die Maschine i always thougth we would close the facility by detonating the bomb inside the vault on the dead shot room, a shame tbh

  11. Really good video man, watching it for the second time, your point about Operators is totally correct too, I'm shocked they didn't do a operator pack with the original 4 (both Primus & Ultimus), even if it'd have confused the story, they could've just said "it's not cannon" & they'd have made so much cash
