Microsoft fired mostly people from redundant positions like accounting after absorbing Activision into their fold; not really that big of a news piece that everyone is making it out to be; meanwhile no one fires off about how truly nefarious the algorithms Activision uses to push gamers that do not buy micro-transactions of their subpar 20 tick rate servers; while giving the best gaming experience to the pay-pigs and content creators to keep them on servers with anticipation that they'll make another purchase of MTXs.
If Sony picks up former Call of Duty developer recently got fired. They can bring back Killzone Resistance or New IP. I think Kill zone can be good competitor for COD.
It sucks that people lost their job BUT ! I do believe they are cleaning house for ALL of the mistakes made in the past few years with tCOD
