  1. From Phoenix AZ USA – Rescuers are heroes no matter where they work. Here, the summers are brutally hot. A +110Β° F (43C) is an average balmy summer day. Phoenix has a ridge of dormant volcanic mountains in the middle of the city. They are Regional Parks with great but rugged hiking trails. Every year our local rescue team saves tourists, but sometimes residents, from the top of the mountain. Locals, it’s generally an accident of some type. Young athletic tourists especially do not understand how quickly dehydration happens in those temperatures. Inevitably they have an insufficient supply of water. At least once a year rescue becomes a recovery effort. Blessing to the Rescue teams around the world. πŸ™
