I absolutely hear Eminem Cinderella Man through this whole movie. Happy birthday sister!
You both are beautiful but carlie is just so 😍😍😍😍 and cute and ect…..
I'm a mom to two littles and the absolute worst is when your kid is sick or suffering and you can't take it away for them. Thank you for sharing your story and thoughts at the end of this video. So often we're afraid of being judged as parents (because we are judged about our parenting, all of the time), so I really commend you for sharing and being vulnerable with us. I'm so glad you and your kids are ok. You are the perfect mom for your kids. Never forget that.
Yes, Carly. I do sing the Eminem song in my head every time I hear this movie mentioned. 😂
I remember watching this in the theaters. There were probably 10 other people and we all stood up and cheered at the end when he won. Such a good move!!
You and your sister definitely need to react to Warrior. You two will DEFINITELY cry a lot of tears.
Omg I’m so glad someone finally reacted to this movie!!!! I saw it in theaters and we were all clapping for him.
Yes I immediately start hearing 🎶Cinderella man🎶 in my head💯💯 I love that song!! Ohh, and 🎉Happy Birthday!!!🎉 I hope you're trip is amazing🤌
they really did max baer dirty in this movie if you watch the fight on youtube it was pretty diffrent thn portraid in the movie and at the end braddock wanted to shake his hand and baer hugged him and after it was announced that braddock was the winner braddock ran towords max baer and hugged him back
Thank you, Cassie, for sharing your personal story at the end. Your willingness to be so open about such tough times shows great strength. As the father of a 23-year-old, there were plenty of times when I second-guessed decisions, or discovered I had allowed some vulnerability to get between me and the path I had to take for my family. Those times test us. But there's steel in you, girl! I've seen it! You are an inspiration. Thank you for being strong enough to be that open and honest. You never know who that will help, seeing that, but it will help someone. Guaranteed.
We could see that this film was hitting Cassie different. Very special for you to share your story with us. And Cinderella Man is one of my favorite movies. Really honored to watch with you two. Much love.
Thank you. ❤❤❤
A wonderful reaction to one of my favorite films. The movie is largely very historically accurate, with the notable exception of fictionalizing Baer into a caricatured villain; he really did have a showboat/clown persona and actually did kill at least one opponent (another death being retroactively attributed to him when a fighter he had recently knocked cold died in a different bout), but he was generally known as a nice man and was haunted by the tragedy. He certainly did not gloat about it or run around prior to the fight making sport of the idea that he would kill Braddock.
Can you please watch
Return to me I think you two will love it.
I remember when I was young kid in the early 70's my dad would come home late from work and I will hear the car drive up and him walk in the house and I was laying in the bed probably three or four years old run in there to him, just excited cause he was home. My mom would say what are you doing up, I would watch him eat what my mom had cooked as he gave me bits and pieces of his food. I loved my parents, didn't have much but we had family
I LOVE this movie, and I’m so glad you watched it! All the old grandpas in my life would tell me how they listened to this fight on the radio as kids. My grandpa went on to box in college before he went to war, and I just don’t know how anyone decides to do that! Such a beautiful story.
Cassie, there is so much I relate to about the story you shared. There is no pain like not being able to help your child. It’s something I’d never wish on anyone. Every time I watch you and Carly I think, they are such good people! Thank you for everything you share, I love your channel!
Russell Crowe has watched every single episode of Popcorn in Bed up until that comment in the intro
You can't flee on a boxing ring… there is no place to hide too. The only way to go is down or up up up
Here’s a little tidbit of info about the 30’s: to this day, dog and cat food must be fit for human consumption, because during the depression sometimes that’s the only meat people could afford.
Unfortunately that’s the way it really was during the Great Depression for so many people
Little trivia on the cast: the actress who played Mike Wilson’s wife Sarah is actually Braddock’s granddaughter. And Jim’s old cornerman with the glasses is Angelo Dundee, a hall of fame trainer who handled champions like Muhammad Ali, Carmen Basilio, and George Foreman.
I’ve always thought Carly is absolutely gorgeous but when she lights up singing Eminem, my heart swelled.
Please react to First Knight
This to me is the greatest boxing movie/story ever and it's criminal how it almost gets no recognition. No disrespect to Rocky, Ali, Million Dollar Baby, Raging Bull. James J Braddock literally fighting for his family/survival/hope/ is just one of the most amazing sport stories. This is the perfect movie/story to get people up and going again when everything seems hopeless.
I am so proud of you Cassie. You are the only You Tube content provider I contribute to on Patreon. I always look forward to your reactions. You should not apologize for your story but admire it, and yourself. You did and are doing the best you can. I am probably old enough to be your father, so remember this, what does not kill you makes you stronger. Cassie you are not dead, but you are stronger. Thank you for all the great content.
Cassie: You love the dodges…
Carly: I love the Dodges…
Y'all are so stinkin' cute!!! 🤣🤣🤣 Love watching movies with y'all. Y'all really rode the emotional roller-coaster with this one, huh? As expected, it's a great film, definitely hits you in the feels…Carly, I love your smile 😍
Thank you for sharing your story. I know a lot of people can relate. As a father to a son that is low on the autism spectrum, I know what it is like to not be able to help your child. To not have the resources and support that you need. To watch them get worse instead of better despite your best efforts. And the powerless feeling you are left with as a parent. All you can do is be a good mama to your little ones. And it sounds like that’s what you’re doing. And they know when we love them.
Great stories speak to our own life's happenings… this film was great storytelling.
I don’t know if you’ve seen the movie The Hurricane but if not it’s absolutely worth watching. Boxing movie with Denzel. Since you guys seem to be such boxing movie fans lol
Happy Birthday!!!
