Welcome to our channel. All the weapon systems are like books, and they tell us their stories. The Weapon Detective investigates these books, reads between the lines, analyses, and tells the untold. At the dawn of the Second Cold War, the fruits of new projects give us clues about the future. But current weapon systems also have their own stories. In our videos, you can find technical information, historical backgrounds, what happened during the development processes, combat experience and political projection. While the Second Cold War is rising, Let’s investigate the weapons together.

  1. Good video with an interesting analysis. But, I think you underestimated the aircraft carriers of China. Even though the Chinese Navy are not equivalent to the western navy, these ships are still dangerous.

  2. Nowadays, all party loving Chinese are leaving the evil foreign country, giving up their residency, works and / or study 📖 and returning to peace loving motherland China 🇨🇳 for further development and assistance for a better motherland Chinese area of influence including Taiwan 🎉❤🍻

  3. The bombing of Chinese embassy in Yugoslavia was not an accident. Five JDAMs were used, if it was a single JDAM hitting, we may believe it was bombed by accident. As more information leaked, the PLA military engineers were certainly in Yugoslavia.

  4. one difference between the Russian and Chinese carriers is that the Chinese carrier does not have a tug following it everywhere it goes. obviously did a much better job of fitting the engines

  5. "Realistic consideration" as usual! You're Weapon Detective. Comparing individual "toys" is meaningless. You should "consider" the country's geographical, historical, economic, political, military, etc. considerations. It is a “just a huge country” that has a lot of domestic unstable factors, and a “country whose population is rapidly shrinking” in the future. There are too many factors that could adversely affect economic growth with further spending on military spending. It's like watching the "Empire of Japan" before World War II.

  6. You keep assuming china will steamroll anyone other than the US, why? Their equipment and troops are completely untested. Look at Russia's performance in Ukraine.

  7. if we are to answer can these ship change the game? we have to answer what is the game? If the game is to become pre-eminent sea power of the globe, it's not the ships that is deficient or PLAN's trainings or even so called "navy tradition"; it's the grand strategy, the culture and the leadership of China that are fundamentally at odd with such a goal. In history, the great sea power of the world were motivated by expansion, profit, knowledge and above all freedom that was promised by land far away, thus to build great explorers, then traders, than colonizers, then navies. Ocean was ever the ally of risk takers and the enemy of despots. Today, the game of the sea is that of the global capitalism, the global human migration and the global information exchange, and China, despite its brand new technological exterior, are still at core an land-based civilization, inward-looking, fearful of risk, and pre-occupied with holding on to whatever power and wealth they claim among themselves. These ships, through no fault of their own, is going to share the destiny of other once believed to be "great" navies, the Kriegsmarine, the Soviet navy and IJN, that is, a whole bunch of great ships married to the wrong nation at the wrong time.

  8. I imagine the PLAN will maintain Liaoning and Shandong until their CATOBAR carrier fleet is large enough and even then they'll probably maintain them in reserve for years more in case a violent reunification with Taiwan doesn't go as planned

  9. The second cold war was lost the moment China’s economy exceeded that of the US a few years back and continues to power ahead unabated. But like all hegemonic world powers the US will continue to spend more and more on a defence it can ill afford. Just look at the irrational fear of Russia NATO members have. Even before the current events NATO spent over $US1.2 trillion on defence between them and nearly 20 time as much as Russia. And the Russian performance against a relatively weak middle power can hardly be said to be stellar yet it has actually convinced NATO and others to waste yet more cash and take on more debt while at the same time sabotaging their own economies with energy sanctions. For every carrier the Chinese build the US and her allies will build 3. But, while China can easily afford these every one they construct creates massive overreaction, spiralling debt and the ultimate collapse of the hegemon. I doubt very much the American’s can tackle their current $32 trillion debt yet alone what their planned arms race will add. Aside from that the only worth of a carrier is for flag waving exercises or bombing goat herders and people of the wrong colour or religion into the dust in illegal and pointless wars of aggression from 40,00 feet while bravely waving a rainbow flag. As for a modern war between the great powers it will only end in one way. Kaboom. I used to work in Africa and the locals told us “you white men may have the watches but we have the time”. All China needs to do is wait and let our irrational fear of everything consume us.

  10. Chinese aircraft carrier has two missions: 1.ignite the nationalism spirit. 2. serve as existence navy 3. most importantly, as a mean to pay for high ranking party members to acquire their kids' tuitions in Western World.

  11. Funny that you failed to mention that China's first Indigenously built Carrier Fujian has at least two massive cracks on the main deck. But nice try at the deceptive propaganda…

  12. India also has 2 aircraft carrier and 1 being built, and their ships are some of the best and advanced in the world though much smaller than the Chinese navy. So Chinese and indian navy especially in the Indian Ocean might result in indian victory
