  2. GDP per capita in China is around 12,500.00 per year and in the US it’s more than 70,000.00 per year. In the US pretty much everyone can own a car, even a high school student. In China that is often not the case, so they need to emphasize public transportation.

  3. Here in Sydney the interstate train ( XPT ) average speed is 75 km and is run on a early century single track for majority part of the distance , ! 12 hr from Sydney to Brisbane ! Yes , it's the fastest rail in Australia I think !

  4. Many foreigners think that China is still 100 years ago, especially our neighbors are so arrogant that they feel that their country has completely crushed China. The Chinese people are surprised and then laugh at these people. After all, those who have never come to China to say those clowns will only use the keyboard to brag.

  6. Does this connect with the Shenzhen Metro? Is it considered part of the system? (like on maps etc.)

I know that Wuhu opened two monorail lines last year but I didn't know that Shenzhen has one. $750m is not bad at all. I know that Shanghai metro lines (around 25km) can cost from $4b to $7b.
