  1. It can only be viewed with melancholy how a technology developed in Germany in the 1970s was brought to market maturity overseas as a further developed version of the Transrapid as a high-speed maglev train. While travel speeds of 600 km/h are possible on their high-speed lines and travel times of longer distances are considerably reduced, in Germany the speed limit of 130 km/h is being debated. The differences could not be greater.

  2. Maglev are definately cheaper & safer than hyperlood trains. Maintainng partial vacuum adds an order of magnitude complexity to the operation of hyperloop train systems.

  3. After traveling on high speed bullet trains in China and coming back to the US on Amtrak trains or other trains is like back to the 1990's. Our trains are very antiquated.

  4. @3:45, Good try at pushing propaganda that diminishes China’s technology. Fact: China, S Korea, Japan, and France all have mag-lev trains, but China’s mag-lev is the only one that is commercially operated — the remainder are in R&D or just demonstration models. SkyTech Link sounds very similar to so many YouTube videos whose narrator sports an Australian of British accent and swings a sucker punch at China.

  5. @3:53, This narrator says the concept of the bullet rain originates from the USA — which is at best a lie, at worst using the ‘concept of bullet train’ to derail China’s high speed rail achievement. Sounds familiar. We know where this narrator is heading: the West is the tech pioneer while China can only ‘steal, borrow, or adopt’ Western tech. Had the West pioneered high speed rail or conceived high speed rail rail, where are these high speed rail, today?
