  1. At first I was surprised that Robert "Yummy" Sandifer wasn't mentioned but it did seem like you were focusing more on kids who very intentionally planned their kills while Yummys was not a targeted kill at all. That story kills me every time I read it because as far as I understand even though he was troubled and had a terrible life and did a terrible thing he was still planning on turning himself into the police for what he did before he himself was killed by fellow gang members. He was only 11.

  2. Gunna throw my opinion out there, I think everyone deserves a chance to change. I don’t think everyone will, some people are almost hardwired from their traumas and can’t move forward to grow as a person. Some people have true strength and can evolve into better people. Unfortunately I believe that the people who can change after horrific acts like these are fewer then greater

  3. 25:01 So the "justice" system failed them at literally every turn. How unsurprising. The SYSTEM revictimized them both, especially putting a CHILD in solitary. That is absolute insanity, but then, the state clearly didn't care about their abuse before, why would they start then.

  4. Gosh this made me so sad just listening to to think kids younger than me are doing this to save or protect (Don’t know anything else I can use) themselves is just so sad to me to think they had to grow up in jail and have to deal with this guilt or sadness just to live just hurts me. 😢

  5. Happy New Year Kris..I love love love your series and you are are just so energetic to watch, i have a suggestion for a cult deep dive, i was watching Shiny Happy People today about the Dugger family and their life in the Institute of Basic Life Principles. Although no one has yet died, i actually found it to be interesting to watch, how deep down the rabbit hole the church goes with government and coverups. Totally worth a bit of a deep dive…Oh and Australian Serial killers. As an aussie there is a whole lot of serial killers. I live in Sth Aus and its known as the serial kiiller state. Keep up the good work and i look forward to more of your deep dives this year

  6. Regarding the Jamie Bulger case, the 2 boys tried to lure another young child before they saw Jamie. They tried to lure the young child into oncoming traffic but the mother of the child saw them and managed to grab her child before anything happened.
Jamie’s mum took Jamie out and was the first time she took him out without his stroller. She only let go of his hand for a few seconds to pay the butcher. The 2 boys walked miles with Jamie and essayed him with a metal rod and branches after using blunt force trauma.
After being released with new identities, one of the boys was found with Child P*rnography on his computer and was arrested a second time.

  7. The first story is from the UK where I’m from but Venables is pronounced Ven-a-bulls here and Bulger is pronounced Bul-jer and when the judge said her majesty’s pleasure it’s because all of our prisons are called HMP… so HMP Armley or HMP New hall etc

  9. It's horrifying to think about, but kids that age can be capable of doing some really awful things. I think some kids just become very desensitized by what they see in movies and/or first person shooter type video games. They don't see the victims as actual human beings. A lot of parents need to be more aware of what they allow their children to be exposed to. The world is no longer Bugs Bunny, Road Runner and little green plastic Army Men out in the back yard!

  10. Really curious about how the interrogation of the brother and sister pair in the last story was handled. Not only because they were minors, but because they were also minorities. Was there any kind of appropriate forensic interview done? How were their rights handled did they have other adult family members, or a lawyer present to aid them I'm very glad that they were both able to find value and purpose in their later years.

  11. Kris, I absolutely adore your content, m'dear!

That said, I have a tiny bit of feedback. Before recording, please, please, please take a little time to find out how to pronounce the names of people and places in the stories you're speaking on. I've often wondered whether this might be a form of engagement bait, as folk correct you in the comments, but for this video, I can't let it go without mentioning this issue. I was a child myself when the devastating crime against Jamie Bulger was committed, and the subsequent media storm that followed, became daily conversation. The grief that followed was a formative part of my upbringing.

Every misproununciation is like sandpaper in my heart.

    So FYI:

    Jamie Bulger – Bul-jer
    Jon Venables – Ven-a-buls
    Merseyside – Merzy-side
    Bootle – Boot-ul

  12. I’d like to hear what you think about the Paris Lee Bennet case. Paris was 13 when he killed his 4 year old sister. Paris did an interview with Piers Morgan in 2019 and it was VERY interesting.

  14. This is a really weird request but could you go over school shootings? I feel like it falls under true crime, and as a high school student I'm tired of these events never being discussed by anyone outside of those directly affected by them
