I don't understand how anyone lives through a lightsaber stab. It's not like a puncture wound where your flesh is separated and can heal. It's a giant hole that incinerates the flesh, there's nothing to heal, you're just missing chunks of your organs lol.

Tbh I'm happy with live action versions of some of these concepts but I'll also admit it hasn't been handled as well as I would've liked. I still like the ideas but I just think the mark of Kathleen Kennedy can be felt keenly through it. (Key point being Sabine being Force Sensitive and all that entails, which, especially if you've watched Rebels, comes out of the left field.)

The witchcraft aspect in star wars was shown in the clone wars and rebels series and also Jedi fallen order. That was why the clone wars and rebels has an pivotal to the ashoka series. Its like writer assumes you already have seen the two animated series and won’t go into the background story for many of these characters. Similar to the dceu they assume you already read and know the comics rather than take the time retell the origin story of some heroes in movie format

as someone who watched rebels, the argument that the men died is false, some died yes, but there are some that survived and one that no one is sure, him being alive or dead it's kinda the point of the Ahsoka show, also as you said it's Disney so you can't really trust them with a trio of female characters
