I’m in act 6 on my first chieftain ever (-8
For vaal breach, I have been swapping a flask for a stun immune flask.
I basically did this in ToTA when everyone was saying Chieftain ascendancy was trash. Also my first level 100 without switching to an exp grinding method. Like BalorMage said it just accidentally gets to 100 doing normal juiced farming and never dying.
im new to chieftan and switch to this build but how do i make my ignite be the circle around me? even without it works lmao <3
Its not the lack of phys shift that kills you usually, its crits. You can solve it with stun mastery, or try to get 110% with armor masteries and corrupt on chest piece
Do you feel like going down and taking EO is worth it?
I've tried the fulcrum version and loved it, saw there was a warlock penance mark + cws + det dead version swapped over to it and my single target felt better for stragglers. I've got 90% all max res 79% max chaos res and I haven't died a single time since I got into maps. I'm about 30% away from level 100. If you haven't tried the fulcrum or the det dead version go for it so much fun especially with mf loot explosion everywhere!
The number 1 dealbreaker is having no single target damage. Good luck trying to ignite yourself by popping vaal breaches with 5% explode chance.

Has anyone done a version of this build without the MF stuff, more like a normal build with good or at least decent single target?
I love the underground cheap version that works until u build up the cash to get the stuff… the cheap version also has a way to deal with the last man standing as well which is cool and doesn’t cause frustrations along the way.
You can get crit immune from the mastery where you cannot be crit if you've been stunned. Since you're using the stun tech, it will be up all the time.

The key is the wildwood ascendancy class, get +6 to max ele resists with almost no effort.
Hi Balor, how do you deal with Corrupted blood?
agreed this build is a ton of fun. Normally I dislike MF because I dislike building a weak character and have to pray I can ride the HH buffs to live. Sure I take twice as long to clear a map as a bow build but I'm having a million times more fun tanking an army of abyss monsters.
How do you level this character up killing bosses during the campaign?
