  1. Was waiting for this hot take… omari did nothing different or better than pulisic or ziyech or any other number of players we have had or players we have gotten rid of only difference is (you guessed it) he is british so let the severe overhype for bang average at best) begin

  2. These comments are an embarrassment. Let’s go scorched earth…

You are going to feel like a moron in 10 years. You have no perspective whatsoever. You act like football, like LIFE doesn’t have ebbs and flows.

Were you even alive and watching football during the Invincibles season? What about the run of success Sir Alex had at United? What have those teams accomplished in the last 10 or so years? How long was Liverpool’s dry spell before their first premier league title and latest champions league title? Do you think that they weren’t trying when they weren’t succeeding?

Let’s make it more relatable. Do you pass every exam with 100% accuracy? Are you in a relationship with the person of your dreams? Do you have your dream job? Do you always accomplish everything that you set out to accomplish with no difficulty whatsoever?

Obviously, the answer to all of these is “absolutely not”. Unless you are lucky enough to be with the person of your dreams. If that’s the case, chances are you are paying too much attention to football and should focus more on them.

My point is, stop acting like this is the end of the world. Stop acting like this is the most important season that’s ever been played. Stop acting like you know better than the people that have millions and billions at stake in this. You don’t. You don’t even know the context around anything that happens because none of us do until it is in the press and then you might be getting the truth and you might not.

That doesn’t mean that they don’t make mistakes. That doesn’t mean you can’t be critical, but to speak with such self-assurance, completely lacking humility, just makes you look like a spoiled brat. All this sack potter nonsense. Who would you have brought in? Potters not ready to manage a club this big? How do managers get big enough?

All of your arguments could be countered by pointing to Mikal Arteta and pointing to Arsenal. I would wager that none of you were born in the shadow of Stanford Bridge. Therefore, you chose to support Chelsea. If you want to blame someone for your unhappiness, blame yourself. If you want a club, that’s never going to go through any type of adversity, good luck.

  3. Having watched a bit, not a lot, of academy football this was really exciting to watch. Interesting that the young players were more standout than senior players and considering it's basically a first choice villa side. Was annoyed at the positions that some players played in, want to see Rankine at RWB to see if he's capable backup when James is out, Elliott is a attacking mid/winger not a CM in a double pivot, Webster playing right back was weird. Feel for Broja, hopefully we don't go and buy some dodgy old striker for short term cover and block his pathway, if we have to buy, just get someone on a loan please.

  4. Aubameyang was ",it " at every team until he arrived at the Bridge. Tammy, Lukaku and Giroud weren't "it" either. Until we get creative midfielders, criticism of our strikers should be muted.

  5. Injury to Armando Broja doesn't necessarily mean he's out of the first team squad consideration.

Nor is it a certainty that Omari Hutchinson and Lewis Hall join Trevor Chalobah, Reece James, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Conor Gallagher and Mason Mount as graduates of Chelsea Academy who've made the grade.

  6. I see a lot of fans complaining about yesterday’s performance and about Potter. Let’s calm down and look at the facts. They had virtually a full strength team out and we had a third string crowd of youngsters. And some of those youngsters didn’t look out of place. So let’s look at the positives

  7. Kai needs to be the striker in our team. Auba is done.
Omari, Hakim, and even Puli hopefully will spark form after this WC.
We still need a new box to box mid. Rice needs to happen in the summer.
Give me 4th place this season and I'll be happy.

  8. Saka, Martinelli, Smith-Rowe had all debuted for the Arsenal first team by the age of 19. Hutchinson still 19 and yet to play a competitive game for the first team.

Your getting way ahead of yourself.
