The Berserk skill isn't quite correctly described here.
Like said, all green health will turn red and start draining.
You won't take any damage, the only thing that decreases your health bar is time.
The longer you stay/attack the monster while in berserk state the faster your health decreases. It can become unmanageable really quickly, even with bloodblight healing, so it's best to make it count.
Curing the frenzy while in berserk mode, not before entering it, heals you to full health and greatly slows down the health drain for a pretty long time. Getting hit hy an attack once cancels that stagnation of healing the frenzy and instantly makes the health drain very aggressive.
If you let your health reach 0 you die.
Switching back only heals half of your red health into green. From my experience, the dango shifter doesn't really help much.
Missed opportunity for, if you fail to overcome the frenzy, switching to blue instantly kills you
Does Berserk trigger Heroics from Rajang since you technically have no health?
We need some testing for how Berserk interacts with Blood Rite

So… when you wear Chaotic Gore Magala armor you literally see red during the duration of the fight. >:D
I’m so sick of these trash skills. I have to literally be dying just to do more damage. I can’t wait until the next MH, sunbreak’s skills are such a turnoff.
Personally chaotic gore magala is much easier than risen chameleos it took me 4 carts to beat gore and 10+ hours to beat risen chameleos

You dont need chaotic Gore weapon for this set to be broken to shit.
I use Lucent/Gaia weapons now. For their sharpness raw and slots.
It easily reaches Expert 7, giving you 40% afinity. Same with Critboost 3. This, frenzy boost form Bloodlust 2 (not 3, two is better) and Strife… slap on Maximum might or whatever and you can get 100% crit no problem.
On top of that, when you are in bluescroll, YOU CANT GET DAMAGED. You are running the clock, but you can heal mid blue. So, with medicine 3 and debuff from Anomaly monsters… .you are literlay immortal.
I also run palico with healing bats, and when they proc I stay on full red hp all the time.
Malzeno healing perk works, healing slug works, healing kinsects work.
And you want to have Bloodlust 2, not 3 (if you get one from qurio crafting).
You want to that affinity buff to last as short as possible, so you get frenzy again, it can seem counterintuitive, but when you overcome frenzy, you heal full hp on blue scroll. And overcoming frenzy is very easy, since you dont have to worry about getting hit that much.
How should i play with this set armor? I never played with this kind of set (I main ig)
Interesting how Capcom phased out the Frenzy Shard, Frenzy Crystal and Vile Frenzy Crystal items since 4 and 4U. In those games they were quest rewards that were used for special forms of talisman melding. In Gen and GenU, they were just account items that Gore and Shagaru could drop as shinies. Now they've been outright replaced by the Wyvern Tears. I guess they didn't want to bloat the game's data any more by adding them for only a few monsters.
I guess it makes sense since the Frenzy Virus is not the central focus of these games, but still…

The armor keeps killing me, the minute I draw my weapon I loose so much health that a hit or two kills me, it says that as long as I'm red I can't faint which is a lie
