  1. It does not take a rocket scientist to see what is happening to planet earth water is taking over the land in many years to come if we don't change
the way we treat planet earth, i also noticed i used to look at the sun with no problem now when i look at the sun it almost blinds me it seems to be more closer to planet earth.

  2. Been going to sanibel, captiva and ftMyers for over 30+years (45) some times twice a yr I love it so much. Scattered my dads ashes on captiva. Truly heartbreaking seeing the devastation that the storm caused. If building doesn’t improve I don’t see how they can continue to live in areas like Florida. Insurance companies are not going to continue to pay out yr after yr, doesn’t make good business sense.

  3. CNN lost us at "climate change". Given climate change?? No, we reject the concept. More likely given junk science from CNN. That bridge is relatively newly upgraded, improved. How it collapsed so easily given where it is built and purposed. That Causeway Bridge should be able to withstand a Cat 4/5 hurricane/storm.

  4. Poor cheap engineering design. For country who is fighting so many wars and claim to have the best technology in the world this is ridiculous and scandalous. Maybe they need to get the Russians or the Chinese to build the bridge for them.

  5. Did people stop and think that maybe mother nature wants Florida empty of humans it was once a swamp and a marshland and tell people built it up so it wasn't anymore and mother nature is pretty upset with us all so I don't know if I lived there I wouldn't go back I'd be done with Florida mother nature is much more powerful than any of us are

  6. I live on Long Island in NY. To get to the main beaches 15 min away, you go onto a parkway(Usually Ocean), that is elevated off the water, and kinda hops to multiple little Islands to get across to the strip of beaches.

I’ve lived here all my life, and I do not think even after Hurricane Sandy took any of this parkway out.
I get Florida gets worse Hurricanes than us, we get them after they do, but this still should not have happened!
