  1. If Tua plays again this season that is an absolute travesty. It's crazy to me that the NFL still acts like we don't know shit about concussions. I know it will damage the nfl product to have guys sitting out for long periods with no visible apparent injury. Also I know it will never be a perfect system because a perfect concussion protocol will basically end football because the entire team would be out for the season. We have to live with some inefficiency, we either protect players and say screw the outcome of the game or we just hope that the amount of money these guys are paid makes it worth not being able to remember your name or where you are by the age of 55. Tua shouldn't have played again this season after the 2nd concussion if we're being realistic, although like I said that would basically end football.

  2. If Derek Carr gets injured then they cannot opt out of his contract at the end of the season. They would have to pick up his three year option (I believe). But this does help the tank job Josh McDumbass has begged for all season too

  3. Run first QBs raise the floor of your team, but we haven’t seen it work out to the level of being a Super Bowl champion in the modern era. I think the run first QB actually lowers the ceiling for your team because they aren’t as much of a force multiplier for the WR and TE. Ideally you’d like a mobile guy, that is still a high end passer, but pocket passers have a huge advantage compared to run first guys historically as far as Super Bowl winners. Maybe coaches have developed game plans at this point to be able to elevate guys like a Hurts to SB winners, but there’s a dearth of evidence so far that it’s possible. Kinda get the feeling this is the year for the Eagle’s, but how many coaches in the league are capable of getting this high end out of the Eagles.

  4. Tua needs to be shut down for a year. I had 2 back to back in college ball and was out a month before symptoms cleared between the concussion. And now 10 years later i still am not the same

  5. If you have a mobile QB, at least for the first half of their career you can get away with a cheaper OL. I think that might be an even bigger advantage than the mobility itself.

  6. When Sam emotes seemingly endlessly about concussion protocol, while admitting he has no clue what the protocol is… Facepalm.

You sounded like a whinging Karen untill I finally hit my FF to the next chapter.

  7. What would be so crazy about Brady staying in Tampa next season? They're almost certainly going to get a different offensive coordinator who will bring in a new scheme. Jensen will be back at center. Wirfs may move to left tackle. You still have Evans, Godwin, and Gage. Young guys like Rachaad white and Cade Otten on the rise. And Bowles will have that defense showing up most weeks. Keep in mind Todd Bowles had no time to assemble his own staff. Arians retired in late March. I think Tom stays for one more year in Tampa or he just retires.
