holy shit i can't believe that delivery guy.. i've been working 2 1/2 years as a delivery driver and maybe in Germany it's different and less tip in general but let me tell you, a 5$ tip is AMAZING. The amount of food, the total price doesn't even fucking matter. If i deliver 200€ worth of food and get 5€ tip i am more than happy because the AVERAGE tip you get across all deliveries, including the customers that don't give any tip is about 1.40€ and i have an average of 3 jobs per hour. that 5€ tip alone is more than the average tip you get in an hour.
he should be happy people tip at all as that's not even a given. i am thankful for every person out there that's tipping the driver. i don't care if you give 50cent or 5€, thank you you are amazing.
