Cat Cafe Manager On Switch Is Broken! | Cat Cafe Manager Nintendo Switch Review

I completed Cat Cafe Manager on Nintendo Switch so you don’t have to. 12 long hours of gameplay for countless issues. I was quietly excited for this one, sadly, it’s packed full of issues so lets take a look in our review which quickly turns into a huge list of problems.

Be warned, though, there’s some real catty mysteries in our town – and a strange black cat roaming the streets…nothing you can’t handle right?

The life of a Cat Cafe Manager awaits! Your grandmother left you a small cafe in the somber village of Caterwaul Way…it’s up to you to fix the place up, impress the locals, and befriend the local cat population. Time to roll up those sleeves, break out the tools, and get that creative coffee flowin’. Your cat cafe can be the talk of the town with the right attitude, menu, and (of course) the cats.

That’s right, Caterwaul Way is home to a plethora of extraordinary felines. It’s in the name afterall! To the delight of the villagers, the local cafe can become their home. Who knows, maybe their presence will loosen tight tongues and help discover the succulent secrets of Caterwaul Way…

The Cat Cafe Challenge
By the time you arrive the cafe is run-down and derelict, but it’s nothing that a little bit of elbow grease, materials, and time can’t fix.

Renovate, decorate, and expand the cafe as you see fit to create a warm, welcoming place for cats – and people – to relax in!

Build up a capable staff by hiring the right people, managing workloads, and helping refine their skills.

Elevate your cafe experience further with custom dishes as well as other menu items, catering to all customer’s needs.

Finding Friends and Felines
A good cafe is more than just a restaurant with good food and drinks. The difference lies in relationships and vibes. At Caterwaul Way, that means befriending cats and townsfolk alike.

Befriend and build relationships with a diverse cast of local villagers, such as Finley, a young musician trying to make it big, or Bonner, the local ferryman who’s got some very tall stories to tell.

Look after local wandering cats and eventually give them a forever home. With each stray’s individual quirks and qualities, your cafe will never be the same as anyone else’s.

Keep your human and feline friends happy to unlock clues around the mystical secrets of Caterwaul Way.

A Living, Feline Village
Caterwaul Way has a long and mysterious history – and many festivals that celebrate it. If you want your cat cafe to become a staple of the village, plan accordingly!

Travel the town, interact with the locals, and discover new recipes, events, and other opportunities for your cafe.

Crack open the mystery of the crumbling, ancient town shrine to an old feline god in the forests near Caterwaul Way…

  1. Having a bit of bad luck with my games for review today, hopefully it gets better as the week goes on. Thanks as always for watching, liking and subscribing and be careful with this one! I played up to day 119, look to top right of the screen and problems don't occur immediately, it gets rough!

  2. I purchased the game yesterday and was enjoying it and progressing for a bit but for some reason my character had trouble moving at one point in the game so I had to stop playing and exit it. I thought it was a problem with the controller but it was actually something going on in game. Otherwise it is a very satisfying and cute game, just need a little tune up maybe.

  3. I paid $24 (au dollar), and its shocking. Cute game, but the constant crashing its annoying. Hopefully improves soon, I really should've looked at reviews first before buying, but I'm in iso so I'm bored haha

  4. You know the devs are working hard on patching the game. Nintendo just makes the process a little longer then Steam does when getting patches out to the game and people. They have a very responsive team that is on Discord that talk through the bugs with people and are very transparent about what is wrong and is being worked on and what patches will be coming out next and are also taking suggestions for future updates. I know the game is buggy but I still highly recommend it.

  5. Just bought and played it until it crashed. I was having fun as I played the first couple hours, but started noticing the glitches pretty quick. Can’t even play the game anymore without starting a new file. Real bummer! Hope they fix it…

  6. Thank you for this. It's nice to know it wasn't just me that was having these issues with the game. It crashed on me twice and I noticed definite weird rubber banding lag. It's a cute game, but all those issues definitely need to be addressed.

  7. I personally love this game. The only flaw is the glitches with the cats. I wanted to keep my first cat in the cafe but had to adopt them because they were glitched in an eating motion for several days despite several restarts. Later in game the cats also glitch when the food bowls are empty and still show that they want food even when I've filled the bowls, restarted the day, or restarted the game. I also think my staff have glitched because they haven't levelled up in AGES. Same with the cats. They don't seem to level up anymore and they're only level 1-4.
