Casual discussion mostly about games

This is a casual discussion I had with viewer “Novelezra” that was mostly about games, but also strayed into game music and nuclear power.

  1. I'm all for this new Podcast format!

Sure it's still tangential rambling for the most part but the fact that someone else is there to bounce off these ideas and topics makes it 20x more palatable to me

  2. It was a true joy to see new videos from AF on my feed. It was this unusual and precious moment. Now AF content is on my feed often but that magic is gone. The only thing I like about these interviews is the fact that Ross seems to enjoy them and maybe with more content being uploaded it will help the channel's visibility, that's good too.

  3. The "download code in a box" thing reminds me of how I learned to not buy games on Humble Bundle, because what I wound up getting every time was a Steam download code. Like, if I wanted the game on Steam I would have just bought it there! Thankfully, many such games are also available to purchase elsewhere.

  4. Remember when Ross reviewed videogames in the Game Dungeon? Why is everyone leaning into this new unedited "talk to some random about anything" podcast bullshit?

  5. Ross is probably missing the company of English speakers. There is nothing compared to having another face to converse with than just replying to messages on chats for 3 hours.

  6. Pathologic is not as hard as it seems.

To complete the game you need only to keep yourself alive for the duration of the game (as far as i know), which is quite simple considering the game expects you to keep everyone close to you alive. You won't get the best ending, but you will see the end of the game.

  7. Yep, I know these interviews would slowly replace the actual content of Ross
Easier views, for a fraction of the work

This is what happens with all great content producers on YouTube.
They slowly learn the “algorithm” and have their productive energy wasted
