Cane Corsos Mobbed Inside Cafe – Socializing Guard Dogs

I have always taken socialization very seriously. It is the key to my dogs obedience I feel. It teaches them patience and to listen in a chaotic environment. It teachers them restraint. It teaches them what is normal which is important when having a guardian breed. They begin to understand normal interactions with strangers so they are less likely to be seen as a threat to the dogs. We are lucky to live in a town where our local mall allows dogs. If you have a mall that allows dogs it can be one of the best places to socialize your Cane Corso on the regular. They will get to meet a ton of new people, hear lots of new sounds, smell a ton of different smells and see things they normally would not.

  1. I am happy for you. It will be an experience for you for sure❤ Safe Travels. I know the boys will be perfect and miss ya. Just know with having any procedure and an autoimmune issue you will heal slower be aware and prepared for inflammation flare!! I am definitely gonna look into the red light. One of my Corso’s has growing pains😮 they said it could happen until he is done. He is 10mo🤦‍♀️. His brother no issues.
    Loved the video !!

  3. I just listened to Kara talk about the boys and JJ’s growth and you will see even more as Bruce gets older guys. When you are not looking and even when you are Bruce is preparing JJ for his future without him. That is their bond. I watched it with our first two that were 4 yrs apart. It is amazing to watch. Don’t blink!❤❤❤

  5. I want my Corso to be like this around people on a leash. When my CC gets excited, he jumps up with a friendly nibble which hurts. I’m sure he knows I’m nervous around people with him. I need to work on myself as well as with him. He never jumps on people off leash at the dog park.

  8. I don't know if you would call it messy I know a lot of people that eat do you get stuff on them regardless they could have a giant baggie on them and still take the Maggie off and have it on them there is a lady that used to work with that would cover her boobs every time she'd eat I'm not exaggerating you know women that have cleavage and shirts don't always cover it all up when she eats she covers her cleavage no s*** every time she ate there is always food that would go down in their cleavage there is another lady I used to go to lunch with Wednesday's was spaghetti days she would put a lab coat on over top of her scrubs when she would come back from lunch she always had spaghetti sauce on her somewhere so I don't know if you would say she's messy I just think people are prone to wear whatever they eat❤❤

  12. I am from Webster, NY, which is near Rochester, NY. Rochester, NY, is in between Buffalo, NY, and Syracuse, NY. My family and I moved to 23 acres of woodlands from Webster to VA in December 2023 after I graduated from RIT. Specifically, we moved to Rocky Mount, which is near Roanoke. There are some things I miss from NY, particularly Wegmans; however, I do not miss the weather, lol. We have three dogs, and they have an acreage of fenced-in space to be free. One of our dogs has difficulties walking at 12.5 years old. Speaking of which, I love walking outside, and I take our other two for walks every day or every other couple of days, leashed. There are glorious sights, like walking distance from our home, some of which are good settings to train a dog. I take our youngest, a rescue Boxer/APBT mix, who is approximately a year and two months old, on the longest of walks. Since two months ago, we have been going for an hour to a two-hour walk in one session because we enjoy it. Sometimes we do this twice a day or cut one session in half. What I do not like about where we live is that many people leave their dogs loose on their property without any supervision. I cannot count how many times loose dogs have run to us from two Rottweilers, an Olde English Bulldogge, an APBT mix, two French Bulldogs, a Siberian Husky, a shepherd mix, some hound dog, a standard poodle, a Dauchand mix, an Affenpinscher, and an Australian Cattle dog. By the way, there have been times when I saw some of these dogs almost get hit by a car. Saying "Shhhh" loudly with a pointed finger while I am being as confident and calm as possible seems to have worked to ward off many of these dogs from coming to us from previous encounters. Nothing bad has happened yet, thank God, except one dog almost bit my dog in the face, but I was quick enough to prevent it. I am looking into a tool that can be deliberate and protective for the both of us if need be. There are some areas near my home that I no longer walk to, particularly where the Rotties and APBT mix live. I do not walk where the dog that almost bit my dog was at. I do check my surroundings frequently, and my phone is with me at all times, of course. I would say for three weeks no dogs have come to us. I do love your YouTube channel, and I have learned useful things from you. Every day, I try to learn something new, become better as a handler/owner to our dogs, and I am trying to learn other possible tactics/ways that are better to handle ourselves from loose dogs coming to us.

  13. Discovered your channel a week ago and subscribed. We're picking up a Corso pup this week. So cool you're in Syracuse in this video. My wife and I live about 40 minutes away in Cortland. Wishing you well on your trip.
